Should have been humanely put down...
Is this news three years old?
I think it was sadly inevitable. What we would have done for some of his wonder goals though this season, just to add some sparkle.
Good luck to the bloke, I'm sure the past seven years haven't been fun for him.
Thanks for the wonder goals against Bradford, Leicester and Preston, and of course the opener in the 3-1 victory over the Albion.
It's a great shame but nonetheless inevitable. George has been a real credit to this club over the last few years, just a shame that luck hasn't been on his side.
Plenty of good memories from Georgeyboy, just glad he managed to get back for a while this season and bag a goal.
Still grateful to him for his brilliant spell in our promotion spell. One of my favourite players of recent years, really wanted it to work out for him this season.
Agreed, Matt Carbon has a lot to answer for...all his problems seem to have stemmed from that challenge.
Hopefully he might be able to play a 5 minutes or so in Bully's testimonial, would be nice to give him a send off
A great shame, George could have been a great player for this club if it wasn't for that $$$$ Carbon.
Thanks for the memories George.
poor old George. Off to the glue factory then. Seemed a geniune bloke who really wanted to do well, but that Albion $$$$er put paid to that.
I always felt we were a better team with Ndah in and it'll always be if Ndah was fit or maybe if Ndah had played it was a shame he was so injury prone. one of the player who truly gave a 100% and a nice bloke to boot
thanks for the memories george! stand out moment for me was his brace against tesco town and that unbelievable goal at preston
we wouldn't have got in the play off's in promotion season if not for his performances in the 2nd half of that year
hope he finds a career within the game coaching kids or somethin
as has been said before matt carbon has a lot to answer for- still the worst challenge i have ever seen
Best wishes for the future, George, and thanks.
Feel for the bloke, I really do. Good luck to him in whatever he decides to do in the future. Always played with a smile on his face and gave his all when he played which sadly wasn't enough.
Very sad, had the potential to be a truly good Wolves player, that injury sustained by Carbon sadly put paid to that, remember his early days and his partnership at Palace with Mark Bright, he had searing pace. Yep, that goal against Preston will not be forgotten! All the best George.
Mark Bright had left Palace long before Ndah broke through to their first team.
Surely in spite of the fact that he has retired he is worth a new contract??
He has drive, passion, committment, etc etc etc........
My son George's favourite player. I wonder why? Maybe the name.
Leaves me in the awful position of having to tell him when he returns home from school.
Thanks for the promotion season George.
Gutted. Was obviously coming but I'm still gutted.
thanks for the memories george. hope to see you in football sometime soon. great pace, skill and always played the game in the right way. a credit to football and wolverhampton wanderers
All the best to him - Great bloke, excellent player. Would loved to have seen him have a good injury free run.
Good luck and God bless, George. All the best for the future. It's a shame to see such genuine players fall by the way side, when there are still money grabbing t****ers in the game who don't seem to realise what a great life they lead.
Just looking on WOW, and did he really play 92 games? I didn't think that it had been anywhere near that number.
Not surprised. Best of luck to him.
thanks for the memories george, possibly the unluckiest man in football
Sad news, always looked a threat when he was fit. Unfortunately that was all too rarely. Wish him the best in whatever he does.
Was just about to post the same thing. Hard to believe isn't it?
Over how many seasons though?
About 8 I think. Not saying he has made a lot of appearances, just that he has made more than I thought he had.
Averages just over 10 games a season though. Not many at all when you put it into perspective.
Top bloke, but as mentioned, it's been on the cards for a long time now. Also agreed that he was never the same after Carbon's tackle. Cheers, George.
Sad, inevitable but expect he's not short of a bob or two so let's not go all "American" on this Good luck George.
Its not but don't forget there have been 1 or 2 seasons when he hasn't figured as all.
While 92 over that amount of seasons is very little I was just surprised to see he had made as many as that, thats all.
Always gave his all and on his reappearance this season showed us how committed he was diving into tackles as if he had never been injured in his life before.
So glad he got a goal against Derby this season to remind him of how it felt. Thanks George.
It's over just under seven seasons (he joined us in October 1999).
It includes 40 sub appearances as well, so in the end he averages around 7-8 starts a season.
Good Luck to him but he was finished in top flight football two seasons ago. We need to clear the decks of those prone to illness etc and concentrate on building the club with players who can turn out week after week.
Dangerous to rely on Ince, Anderton and the likes to get us promotion here on in.
thanks george..the most exciting player at the club when in full flight but due to that tackle from that tw8t from sandwell we never was to see him fulfill his true potential. good luck george your due some.
it really is a sad day. yes we all saw it coming but for it to happen to such a great bloke is just awful. there is no justice in the world.
good luck for the future george
