nice of mr moxey to offer up such an offer for loyal customers

but how about giving us 30quid cash In one go, not £5 in August when shirts are new, then £10 in January followed by £15 in march

one poster on here even commented other day large quanity of stock/sizes are sold out and not being restocked

so thank you mr moxey but what are we meant to acutally buy?

another scam to get us to spend more money

  2. You can get a mug. Quite apt for us really.

Can you use it on a match ticket? Does it save up or have to be spent?

It's merchandise cash isn't it? Therefore only available to spend in the club shop. Ticket money is phrased as Ticket Cash IIRC

As it is 5 10 and 15 can you just go and buy things to that value or do you have to spend so much first?

I bet it conveniently expires just before the new top is released the following season so you can't accumulate the £30 to spend at once.

Nice gesture that's costing the club a lot of £££'s

  9. You know it. I'd have been happy with £15 in August. I'm sure they'll arrange that.

I'll have it off anyone that doesn't want it.

  11. We'll group our fivers and take it in turn to wear the shirt.

I'm in - just need another six.

It won't cost the club anything.

For starters a lot won't use it.

    Then those that do will:

    A) most probably have to put something towards the purchase(s) anyway so it will just be reducing clubs mark up.

    B) will probably buy something they wouldn't have otherwise brought, thus actually making money for the club.

As the saying goes 'don't look a gift horse in the mouth' - it's a no strings attached offer to reward ST holders the longer they have been a ST holder for.

Obviously by staggering the payments the club are hoping that fans will 'spend' that merchandise cash as and when it goes on their card and hope that it brings in extra revenue by extra items being bought - but i'm pretty sure you'll have till the end of next season to use it all in one go if you want.

It's an added extra little benefit of being a season ticket holder that i wasn't really expecting and i'll gladly accept it - it's a nice little gesture from the club that probably doesn't cost them too much actual cash in the long run due to the high mark up on most items in the shop (though you can get good offers in the sales) - i'll be using mine to buy stuff for my nephew to keep him from turning to the darkside and becoming a plastic glory hunter fan.

your deluded if you think the club are losing money on this

they are milking the real loyal supporters in trying to squeeze more money out of us. covering it over as £30 cash it isn't!!

as mentioned i'd rather £15 in august so I can purchase a new shirt not £5 - that's it. I wouldn't moan nice gesture on something I can buy meaningful

I don't want air freshners, mugs every 3 months

I don't want 15quid when anything of any quality is sold out in February 2016

if they doing anything for fans give us the old 10% off it worked

you know why they changed this? for money ££££

    it stinks

    nice loyalty Mr Moxey!!

It's not costing you anything either so i can't see what the problem is.

Though my glass is half full maybe - i might even get a Wolves one with my free merchandise cash.

So what we8wba, I honestly couldn't give a $$$$ if they set up a Ponzi scheme, don't get involved if it upsets you so much.

I personally won't be doing anything with mine because I could not care less. I'll pay my £351 season ticket money, go to the games & leave for a moan in the pub.

christ some people will moan at anything, whatever stick they can use to beat M&M with. its getting tiresome and why i rarely participate on this board anymore

  20. It's clever marketing. I wonder how many would prefer the £15 in August towards a new shirt? Somebody somewhere thinks it's a great idea to shift dated stock towards the end of the season. It is a good idea for them I suppose.

Fail to understand how by any definition of the word the club rewards "loyalty". Be interesting to hear from those who disagree with examples of how "loyalty" is rewarded, more like the opposite.

Topical discussions about how switching your energy supplier has major benefits but the big 6 rely on customer loyalty (inertia) and take for granted (rip-off)their long-suffering loyal customer base. Shame it's not so easy to swith your football allegiances.

It's not something the club have to do but seems a sensible move to make things a bit more attractive.

    How to reward loyalty.

    1. Build a top flight club competing consistently in the top league with dignity.

    Errr that's it.

That would mean Morgan having an interest and ambition which he severely lacks.

I now await the barrage of comments saying how he does care blah blah blah.

Wait a second. The club are giving people £30 to spend at the club shop and people are upset by that? Surely the worst case scenario is that people don't see anything they like so don't have to use it.

And as for being able to have the £30 all at once so they can buy the new kit, well that's fine but it would also lose the club roughly £150k in revenue, which could be better spent trying (and failing) to negotiate a loan fee for Jesse Lingard (or another lookalike) next season...

Not at all, quite happy to accept a free season ticket in lieu of 57 years support and attendance at more than 2k games. There again, not sure I'd be exactly "happy", by the strictest definition of the word:D!

Nice offer but would of really wanted it in a lump sum. Mind you, I don't know if I could spend £30 on Wolves merchandise most of it is just tat!

I've only been a season ticket holder for 10 seasons now so don't expect too much but surely something better should be done for those like my old man and others who are on 25-30 years + as season ticket holders...

We did actually give away 4,700 tickets for the Charlton game.

I might get a new scarf come to think about it, but what if I'm enticed to buy something else when I'm in there 'oh no how will I live', 'damn you Wolves, damn you all to hell.'

It's a good offer by the club and one they have not done before. It maybe a one off thing as they are opening early bird to all fans. I guess people will be moaning next season if the club dont renew the offer every season.

Nobody forces anybody to use the offer so those that dont buy stuff in the club shop are no worse off.

Wolves state following feedback they have introduced this.... Erm who feeds this back

I've already said rather have old 10% off

Just annoys me how they act like thu doing a big favour for loyal fans whilst in reality they are trying to gain extra sales out of us over several months
