Not my comment but Saiss' and was shared by Coady.

I've created this thread to discuss Lage's man management.

I mentioned before I thought Saiss leaving was strange.

I think he likely didn't get on with Lage or perhaps another member of the management team.

Hoever too clearly.

This isn't a go at Lage though, he should be backed to make his decisions.

Fergie was notoriously ruthless and Lage (who has referenced reading Fergies book before) is displaying the same traits.

Hope it pays off.

But the difference was Fergy was respected for his great knowledge and winning things, so being ruthless was in the best interest of the clubs he worked for. I don't think Bruno has earned that respect yet or ever will.
As the saying goes, you can talk the talk, but

In the North Bank bar… Coady scored for Everton and the place exploded. Made me feel happy / sad all at once. Shame it was disallowed.

I was in there too.
Was an odd moment.
Big cheer went up when Everton scored. Then massive cheer went up when it was realised that Coady was the scorer.

Personally I felt proud that people felt so strongly for our former captain.
