Liverpool have enjoyed a remarkable season, and could yet finish 2021-22 having won a treble of cup trophies.

The Reds have won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this term, and will contest the Champions League final on Saturday.

Liverpool also came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League title this year.

For the second time in four seasons, Liverpool finished second despite breaking the 90-point barrier.

The Anfield outfit has also done well in the transfer market, landing the impressive Luis Diaz in January.

While Liverpool have an incredible selection of forwards, three of them are out of contract in 2023.

Therefore, Jurgen Klopp is apparently casting an eye towards new attackers just in case there are any summer exits.

One player reportedly on Liverpool’s radar is West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen.

“Unbelievable player”

The 25-year-old has been in dazzling form this season, registering 18 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

In 36 Premier League appearances this term, Bowen has notched up 12 goals and 12 assists.

His efforts also helped the Hammers reach the Europa League semi-finals.

“Bowen, what a player he became,” Klopp said in March ahead of Liverpool’s meeting with West Ham (The Mirror).

“He was at Hull as well but I don’t think anybody expected this kind of jump. Unbelievable player.”

“He would be a good signing”

Now, transfer insider Dean Jones – writing on GiveMeSport – has provided an update on Liverpool’s interest in Bowen.

“Right now, it will be Declan Rice that gets all the transfer headlines,” he wrote.

“But Liverpool have been linked with Jarrod Bowen in the last year and they’re keeping an eye on that situation.

“And I think other clubs in the top four or five would like to have him in their squad going forward.

“He’s turning out to be a really big-game player, he turns up in big moments.

“Nothing seems to get the better of him, so I think he would be a good signing for someone, but West Ham need to try and tie him down.”

GiveMeSport also claimed that Bowen is valued at £42million.
