The defence has let the rest of the team down tonight. We’ve broken with purpose and numbers but if the defenders can’t defend with any form of consistency and control we would be better off with 10 behind the ball and hoping we can sneak a break.

Back 3 is so spread out and all over the shop, Coady looks like he is playing it for the first time instead of supposedly being a specialist in the role now.

Midfield being totally by passed like they aren't even there, Ait-Nouri and Neto are trying but look on totally different wave lengths. Raul looks isolated.

Chiquinho is carrying us in an attacking sense he is so fast and direct it's great, doing very little defensively but neither is anyone else it seems.

Exactly this. Hopefully get a 2nd and make it interesting. Quite a few positives for me. Same old flat back 4 conundrum but at least we are giving it a go
