Why not many restaurants open today (Sunday)!

Does anyone know why so many restaurants were not open today; did they not know there was a game on? Would people go?

I should imagine some of the staff quite like a day off! 'Made in Thai' is a fans' favourite, always packed before evening weekday games, but I noticed that it was closed yesterday lunchtime.

Interesting cultural differences. Sunday lunch is one if the busiest times for restaurants in my neck of the woods. Mondays are the dead ones.
