Right now, which player can't we afford to lose the most? Obviously not hoping this happens but I was thinking about it....due to injury or what have you.

I'm guessing Moutinho because he controls the middle of the field....hell, I don't know.

Jiminez ... Because we have no other option.

Long term Jota because he could be brilliant!

But answer to the question ... right now Jiminez 100%

Jota for me he is the driving force that gets us up the pitch, the one player we have who teams are terrified of when he starts running with the ball they panic and he could be something really special by the time he reaches 26/27.

Jimenez and then Moutinho to round off a top 3

Can’t pick one.

As it stands we’d be a poorer XI without any of Boly, Coady, Donk, Moutinho, Neves, Jota or Raul.

Ruddy can cover Patricio, Saiss can cover Bennett and Vinagre can cover wing backs.

Anticipate 3/4 quality additions this summer.

Coady would be a big miss for his organising of players around him I think he would be the one we would miss the most on that basis

Moutinho .

With him in the side any new arrivals ( along with present players) will have someone to look up to and respect.

Fundamental to our team.

Jiminez, there’s a few players than can cover Jota at least. Jiminez’ workrate & hold up play is a must in our 11.

Moutinho. Serial winner, quality on and off the pitch.

We have 3 players that are absolutely vital to the system and style we play at present. Take Moutinho, Jota or Jiminez out and were in trouble as no other players in squad can replace what they give us. Would be tempted to include Doherty as well as we have no natural back up.

Neves because he has qualities that are very unique should he be developed properly. All the others are replaceable.

Our front two, we have no backups for them at the moment.

This. Jota is the one producing the results atm, and yes teams are scared of him.
But our whole game falls apart as soon as Jimenez isn’t there.

Think Shrewsbury. Twice.

Jota for me, think he'd be impossible for us to replace, both in terms of current ability and potential, and he's so critical to our way of playing.

With pretty much everyone else, I can of a couple of names we could realistically get who'd probably be decent enough replacements (at least for now). Although with a lack of quality centre halves around, we'd struggle to find someone as good as Boly.

Boly for the sake of our defence.
Jota for the sake of buggering their defence.

Jota,no doubt for me,
A special mention for Dendoncker,he allows the Neves and Moutinho to play their game.

Agree with many on here and its Jota. Too many times he is subbed and we no longer seem to have an out ball or drive forward. The whole team starts to sink towards our 18 yard box making it a nervy last 10 minutes when he goes off
