We love a good narrative arc here at the Prediction League, and this week sees the Hollywood redemption story of Oh When The Wolves returning from his self-proclaimed farcical site ban to secure victory, the fourth weekly award of his career. It's a punk rock tale of sticking two fingers up to the establishment, and it ended with 29 points. In a tough round where correct scores were tricky to come by, Oh When greedily snuffled up 3 of them, most notably predicting Wolves 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Utd; and thus, so bittersweet, Oh When can dedicate his award to the I (heart) PGMOL poster on his wall. Narrative and irony, the perfect bedfellows.

Purplepault69 was one of three players just behind the leader on 28 points, but earns bragging rights through snagging an imponderably spectacular 4 correct scores, including the final two Euro games on the list - no one else came close in terms of bullseyes. Contrarian and Jrpb-3 both accrued 2 correct, with Jrpb-3 being the only player to nail Leverkusen's 3-2 victory over Hoffenheim. SG Wolves was the only other player this week to get 3 correct, hoovering up the two 1-0 snailfests from Spain - that's 12 in 5 weeks for him - and MelbourneWolf was the only human to earn a 10-pointer this round, with an asterisk on Palace's 2-0.

Special mentions of the week are plentiful: Oh When The Wolves (Give Away A Last Second Penalty), Jrpb-3 for Leverkusen, and Frank Lincoln for Brentford winning 3-2.

Spoonwatch - Let's address the elephant in the room, a fictional kitchen utensil collected 33 points this week, thanks to those two aforementioned 1-0 scores in Spain, both doubled, and thus matches Mr Spoon's not-awarded weekly award from last season. Man City games have become a must-play, 7 goals in that one alone, and the Bundesliga continues to provide fertile hunting grounds.
