Feel like my late season form might stop the board wielding the axe I probably deserve. Here's to next season starting again with hope (and maybe a bit more attention to foreign leagues!)


Presuming our hero is up for another season of combining accurate scoring with bonhomie.

26 players this final week, barring any stragglers, and I count 17 stalwarts who have somehow managed to see the course by predicting every single round. Pragmatism triumphs over optimism, with 23 going for a Wolves loss, and only SuperGran and Geowolf standing by a win, with Frank Lincoln predicting the draw; the fact that 5 players reckon we'll concede more than even Don Corleone has predicted tells you everything about the mood heading into this one. But, Elvis Wolf says we'll win, so the rest of us obviously just have suspicious minds.

Everyone thinks Chelsea will beat Watford, Man City will beat Villa, and Spurs will beat Norwich- because let's face it, we're not stupid - but the big points swingers will be the relegation shoot-outs for Leeds and Burnley, and then Palace v Man Utd, where only 6 players opt for a Utd win as Ronaldo seeks to net the five goals he needs to overhaul Salah at the top of the scoring charts. That'll be 6-5 to Palace, then. All the meaty stuff happens tomorrow, but the foundations will be laid in Europe today, especially for the title chasers, where Wonder Boyo could chip away at SG Wolves' lead if even just a couple of results go his way, such is the difference in their predictions.
