Today’s Games 2025/26 Season

On paper this Scotland team should be playing far better than they do.

It's got that proper Scotland feel, look useless until all but the faintest hope has gone, then instantly transform into world beaters.

Look great going forward with McTominay and Gannon-Doak. But then have people like Grant Hanley at the back.

Unbelievable save by the Greek keeper.

Scotland really do put their fans through it.

Chances of them going ahead and being denied late on or a glorious defeat in spite of loafs of chances?

Wonder which Scotland will turn up on Tuesday?
Should be worth a watch either way.
Also a big game between Wales and North Macedonia.

I thought the Hungary goal would be disallowed. It looked offside, but VAR cleared it. Ireland losing already in a game they must win.

I'm really happy with Canada's grit a few nights ago.

Despite missing three of our best five players (Davies, Bombito & Alistair Johnston) and taking a straight red 6 minutes in... we still managed to hold on to a 0-0 draw against Ecuador, who are always a really good side.

2 - 1 Hungary at half time. Ruben Neves would have been proud of the second Hungarian goal. A chest down, swivel into the top corner. Two goalkeepers wouldn’t have saved that.

Watched England 1st half. Only really watch Wolves these days. I'd forgotten how fast football can be. Quick accurate passing, running with the ball, plenty of movement. I can see now how watching Wolves over the past few seasons has pretty much killed my passion and love for the game.

Interview after was fantastic, give him the ballon d'or.

Quality! chose a hell of a month to not drink.

That reminds me of the character in the Airplane movie who said something very similar…

:)

Ukraine 1 - 0 up against Iceland. The Ukranian fans in Warsaw are celebrating like they had won the World Cup!

Hungary v Ireland was quite extraordinary. Amazing finish to the game. We could do with Troy Parrott. 5 goals in 2 games against good international teams. Wolves 7 goals in 11 games.
Just getting back down to earth after that game. Proud to say Troy played for the same schoolboy club in Dublin as myself. Albeit 40 years in the difference.:D
