A great point someone made the other week, is that not only will England not be this strong forever (Kane, Walker etc getting older) But other sides won't be this weak forever either. Look at Brazil. Their CF's are Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison. They'd do well to get into England's squad, let alone anywhere else. And yet we're giving all of these benefits to a League 1 level manager. It's so, so frustrating.

Guarantee, when he does eventually go they'll just put in Steve Holland to replace him.

Indeed, the summer will be a pointless exercise as we will ultimately lose to the first top side we play in the KO stages. He's been England manager for years now and I still have no idea what his philosophy is as a coach.

That's not true is it? Both governed by IFAB, who wrote the VAR protocol that includes 'clear and obvious'?

Look how much the Premier League has tweaked how VAR works since its introduction, just this week Howard Webb claimed they've changed it so VAR is more aggressive in challenging the on field ref, all done without IFAB.

IFAB may say clear and obvious in the rulebook but it's up to the Premier League / UEFA how they determine the level that clear and obvious means and both have different thresholds. Just like the handball rule is an IFAB guideline but UEFA are much harsher on it than the PL.
