Reminds me of Kevin Francis. Remember that air kick he did for blues and the ref gave the cart horse a ****ing pity penalty for being so ****.
Kevin Francis! Now there’s a memory. He was 6 feet 6 of utter rubbish.

I was at the match and remember that kick at fresh air when the ball was six inches from an open goal.

If I remember correctly Bully won the game for us with a great goal in the last minute.

Darío Osorio .. being reported ln Chile deal looking likely and we have offered 5mUSD which is acceptable to the Chilean Club .. no idea if would get Work Permit .. it does seem easier for South American players .. maybe a loan to Grasshoppers .. who knows ..
An 18 y.o midfielder who has played twice for the Chilean team. I assume he would not get a work permit.

Yes. I just watched it on YouTube. Bob hall special. Francis also skied a sitter from 10 yards and bully got the late winner. When you watch the highlights your forget how dross 90s football was.

Francis was appalling. He was just tall.

That little **** Paul devlin always used to score against us. Little ****.

Personally im now at the point where im not interested in any player unless they are between the age 22-31, have top level experience, and their specialist position is either centre back or centre midfield.

Anything else is just fluff and window dressing and will generally have zero impact on our first 11 next season.

Same

Have we been linked with one centre back the entire window?

18m is a total rip off. These big target men keep getting brought out of Belgium and hardly ever work out. Bambi on ice and can't control a football.

Watch his goals again and look how much space he has. Won't get that in the premier league.

Another Wesley. Thought this was what Villa do not us

Just a point .. The legendary Steve Bull did not have the greatest of girst touches but could score goals
Also no matter who Wolves sign even if its Ronaldo or Messi for 60%+ of the Mix they will not be good enough .. too tall too short .. too fat too thin .. to quick too slow ..

You must be delighted we haven't signed 21 year old striker Erling Haaland. What use would he be to us, eh?

Not the greatest first touch but had some explosiveness about him. Some of these target men just looks cumbersome.

I do like we are looking at striker options but I cannot fathom the drying up of midfielder and defender names being mentioned.

All very similar to the last few windows where the same requirements have been blindingly obvious to most yet we end up signing a forward (Podence and Hwang as examples).

Does anyone else think we could get away without signing a defender? I know it’s risky but if it means we can buy a more creative player for midfield and a striker then I wouldn’t mind. The lack of goals is quite worrying considering the talent we have in forward areas

Nah I think we need a centre back, if we are going 3 at the back again you'd have to say Kilman Coady Boly are first choice with Toti and Mosquera as back up.

Mosquera is totally unproven and doesn't look ready for the first team, plus he picked up a couple of injuries last season so thats a worry, Toti is back up at best, did a decent job when called upon but I'm not 100% sold on him if he is required to play a substantial number of games. So then you are relying on the 3 first choice picks staying fit and Boly hasn't been fully fit for 2 years and doesn't look the same player, even Kilman missed the end of the season, it's a massive risk going in to the season with just those 5

Sounds the real deal

Absolutely..
Obviously it's always a question whether anyone from a league with lower quality than PL, can make the step up. I'd say however that the Belgium league is a bit better than the Danish and he adapted quite well and has now outgrown that level too

Coady
Kilman
Boly
Toti
Mosquera

That suggest it’s possible but Boly has lost it (IMO), Toti is still raw and Mosquera is injury prone. Then we have the debate on formation etc

Personally I think we need one.

50% just means Barca retain a 50% sell on clause. Like our deal with angers for RAN
I don't in all honesty fully understand what the difference is between "economic interest" and a sell-on clause except that the former can last indefinitely until bought out.

Im more concerned on how much we got for them, i'll go out on a limb and say not much at all.

Shabani cost us 1.5m euros, Dadashov around 450k fwiw

Absolute no brainer, not going to make a dent in the first team so get them off the wage bill whilst retaining sell on or first option at GZ.

I consider Kilman, a top half Prem central defender and potentially a top 4 defender.

I don't. I think he's massively helped by the fact we effectively play 7 defensive minded outfielders and would be exposed in a more open side. Game of opinions.
