Absolutely no chance of Bueno or Ronan starting. Bruno didn’t bring them off the bench against Leeds so why would he start them?

I'd go unchanged for Leeds and bring Guedes on around the 60 min mark. Hwang i thought looked better at Leeds so providing he isn't carrying a knock he starts

Hwang put himself about but he isn't unlocking a defence and whilst he had a good effort with his left foot first half I don't think he's the clinical striker you need.

Really hope Jimenez thrives with better service this year.

Guedes on the bench for me till he settles otherwise it will discourage the others.

Good point, and stayed on too long when he was clearly struggling.

To me that looks like the side and it's not too shabby. Bence will still be all kids. Not too sure what happens when Jimenez gets back and Traore is good to bring off the bench. Moutinho for Dendonker and Semedo at FB in time. What ****s it all is if we get more injuries. I dread to think what happens if Neves gets injured. At this time he really is the one and only genuine bit of quality we have.

I would go with this, assuming Guedes is fit and Bruno trust him to start, mainly because we haven't got anyone else. Hwang plus kids on the bench.

I'd prefer to see three in midfield, with Dendoncker and Neves told to fill in for Ait-Nouri/Jonny if there's a turnover while they're upfield. Mitrovic's speciality is pulling onto the back stick to challenge a short/out of position full back so I think we'll be exposed otherwise. To avoid Neves getting too bogged down I'd also ask MGW to give 100% tracking back and not worrying about getting knackered, with a view to bringing on Podence or Guedes when he does tire. I'd perhaps get him and Neto to swap flanks occasionally.

Collins and Kilman will need to be organised to ensure someone picks up Pereira, who played very close to Mitrovic, but has a knack of arriving late.

I think the bench is going to be crucial. We were at such a major disadvantage with our options against Leeds. We badly need players like Moutinho, Semedo and Traore back in action as soon as humanly possible.

P.s. Just for fun, say you add hmmm I don’t know, Andre Silva and a top class midfielder to that and I think all of a sudden we are causing a lot of teams a lot of problems.
