They are ambitious give them that lol. 600m gross spend over 4 years! However their approach is somewhat of a scattergun & being coached by gary mccalister won’t get them far

Leeds going down would create an interesting transfer market. Some big clubs who are sniffing round Neves may choose Phillips as a cheaper option.

From what I saw of Gerrard in Glasgow, he's a pretty good manager over a few seasons, but takes a year or so to really start making a difference. So I think by this time next year Villa could be in a strong position.

I think he's crap and a tad dopey! But he certainly did well at Rangers. We just always seem to live in fear of a Villa upturn that never happens

The **** thought the same about us though when they were in the league and we eventually turned it round.

He's certainly good enough to achieve those as we can all attest to.
It's gutting but you can't begrudge him one iota. An immense talent who played his heart out.

Arezo is a very highly rated young striker, if Silva was to leave for any reason would be a good 3rd choice striker for us. Maximiamo would be a great back up to Sa as well.

Mick used to buy from relegated PL teams. That went well, NOT! I can't really see why buying from a relegated La Liga team is likely to yield better results (which is not to say that they may not have the odd decent player).
