Summer 2020 Transfer Summary Thread: Covid-19 Edition

Everyone,

here's the transfer summary for the summer of 2020.

For those who've not seen this thread before, it's simply a consolidation of all the transfer speculation in one easy to read summary that I do my best to keep up to date.

To keep this thread easy to read, please use the other threads (like this one) to discuss transfer speculation in more detail but...

If you see a new rumour that isn't listed in the summary, please go ahead and post it here and I'll update the main page as soon as I can.

The transfer Window opened on July 27th and will close on Oct 05th.

A domestic-only window, during which Premier League clubs can only trade with those in the EFL, will run from 5 October to 17:00 BST on 16 October.

Said this on another thread but I can’t see this transfer window being anything but cautious for all the big clubs. They may have to rethink their whole income stream if stadium income changes and there is a real potential for disruption in live streaming income.

For us this disruption may create opportunities. Notably we are not lumbered with a recent costly stadium upgrade like Spurs. Premier league is in a good position to consolidate its TV income in comparison to other leagues around the world. Meanwhile the great stadia of Europe are empty and maybe bargains from South America and Europe could be available

The Premier League have just announced, that the Window will officially run between July 27th - October 5th at 17:00.

Following Deadline Day, there will be a Domestic Premier League - EFL only window, between 17:00 on October 5th and 17:00 on October 16th, which will NOT allow Premier League clubs to trade with each other.

It didn't make it clear whether they were players we would want rid of or players other teams would want. Given the absence of Adama and Raul, probably the former which means the whole thing is probably nonsense.
