Not a pub rumour as such but according to people within the game I know (at different levels) Max Kilman has a few strong suitors, namely, Newcastle, Leicester and Arsenal, no fee has been mentioned but highly rated with many Prem clubs so wouldn’t be too surprised if an early offer to “test the water” comes in!

Nice one. I hear a few snippets now and then that would be more relevant for a 'down the pub' thread than pretending to be an ITK that gets pelters. So would be good for this to stay.

Lopetegui would be quite exciting. Never thought I'd want a manager that scratches his armpit and sniffs multiple times during games but our Bruno isn't the most inspiring on the sidelines either.

Shame about Ruben but we all kinda know it's coming.

As for Dendoncker, if we get decent money then fair enough, but think we'll struggle to find a third or fourth choice centre mid who's better and also happy to sit on the bench without moaning.

Moutinho must be a sub next season. If we're starting with him in August, that means we haven't replaced Neves and Dendoncker adequately, so lord help us.

If rumour 1 is true (and I hope it is) then Lopetegui favours a flexible 4-3-3 switching to 5-2-3 within games with the defensive midfielder dropping back into central defence when required. Fernando Reges performs this role at Seville. With Saiss likely off, the only guy within our squad who could probably do this competently is Dendoncker unless Coady gets another reinvention as he did under Nuno.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. There are no facts here. Only third hand rumours as passed on by a friend of mine (knows his stuff, normally what he hears is pretty close to the truth) and an acquaintance (in my experience, he's full of ****. Most of what he says about life, politics and football is total *******s) who have actually said the same things...

1. Lopetegui apparently in talks.

2. Neves leaving (that's pretty obvious).

3. Dendoncker to Lazio for £25M!!! (Unbelievable business if true).

4. Moutinho staying.

Sources - Staff at Compton and a beautician FFS (works for WAG's) lol just passing on what I heard.

Moutinho adds stability in a time of change . He should be tempted to stay as mentor , anchor, coach and player.

If Lage stays I could see Palhinha coming in for sure.

If there’s any truth in the Lopetegui rumours, he’d probably want to bring in specific players to fill the specialist roles in his preferred system ( e.g DCM, AT) especially if he thinks there are gaps in the current squad. Imagine he might also be interested in a Traore swap deal where he gets to pick 2-3 Spanish youngsters with potential to kick start the next cycle. The latter would go down well with FOSUN and Mendes for various reasons and might give him more scope to handpick a few players too.
