Just read on the official website, on the wall that is was Brian Billetts funeral yesterday
Brian was famous for giving yellow and red cards to the opposition players and then to the ref, Brian was mentioned on here a few months ago.
I used to stand next to him on the south bank in the eighties for many years
RIP and God bless Brian you gave us many hours of enjoyment and will be missed by everyone.

RIP

I remember Brian in the North Bank. Always used to make me laugh, a real character. Seems a long time ago now, he must have been a ripe old age

I also stood next to him, but in the North Bank.... never forget the night I saw him in the Purbani Indian restaurant, Clarence Street...one of the waiters tripped up as he was coming out of the kitchen and Brian promptly stood up and brandished his yellow card
RIP Brian..what a character

Rip Brian, I too remember him from the North Bank in the Seventies on the right hand side by the enclosure, with his notepad of scribble.

Remember him well on the South bank when the North bank had closed.
He must have lived to a good age?

RIP Brian.
