Realistic January signings

This article suggests we met his agent months ago, that his contract is up in 2026, he wants to come to the UK, and, of course, he will be cheap.

BTW: when you read project, think fairy story.
I saw them earlier in my garden the fairy’s am coming!!

Anyway

Hopefully we can bring 5 or more in January to help us towards next season

Dawson would of been perfect oh well that is water under the bridge I guess

If we were to get a Mandas and Mercedo. Add in Lima coming home hopefully the likes of a Tolu, Wolfe, R Gomes and Fer Lopez all stay, throw in a sprinkle of Mane and Enzo and the crème da le crème for me would be if we can possibly convince Krecji as club captain to lead the new era alongside Santi at the back, bring back Doyle, Bouba we already having the making of a not bad 1st team for the championship. That surley has to be the aim. JSL, J Gomes, Agba, Mosquera, Sa, H Bueno, Hwang, Andre, Arias all go for a few shilling to pay for the rest of the squad improvements.

Not sure I'd trust our recruitment team to bring in Breno Bidon and Fatawu.

They'd end up bringing in Joe Biden and John Fashanu.
To be fair Fash would probably be more mobile than JSL currently….in fact so would Biden….the only president you could ever have assassinated by not gritting the White House!!! LOL!

All the talk of JSL going last window is hearsay surely? He was carrying an injury and would probably not have passed the medical if a solid bid was put in for him, so we didn't miss an opportunity really?

Sell Sa, Hwang, Hoever and Munetsi (ideal world) in January and recall Lima alongside bringing in as suggested in my previous post aswell as Mandas and go with something like this for remainder of season….

Subs…
Johnstone, Mosquera, Santi, Toti, Bidon, Mane, Fatawu, JSL, Bellegarde. IMG_3493.jpeg

The gibberish that comes out of Biden's mouth probably makes more sense than some of VP's line-ups this season too.

Proper Premier League quality side that.

Scottish Premier League that is.

Championship Team. Dependant on what we could get in Jan and convincing a couple of players to stay.

Mandas
Lima Santi Kercji Wolfe
Bouba
Mercado Doyle
Mane Tolu Lopez.

There is some hope we could come back.
Yeh i meam bouba doyle lima im sure all start Lopez will stay as im sure will tolu

Mane will get minutes all very fair It would require some very good management to get krejci to stay

I don't get this Mandas fella. He can't get in Lazio or Greece team and he has only ever got for a 1m euro fee.....Said when rumours were mentioned before the transfer fee mentioned was talking the **** ..

Think it's all agent talk anyway. ...

He will be available cut price now but yeh you may well be right same with mercado

What’s the foreign quota rule in the championship? I am sure it’s less then 17?

I suspect that now that VP has gone, Andre, Gomes and Larsen will suddenly find their form.......

I wouldn't be surprised to see Agba playing like he did when he first arrived too.

I suspect they all stopped playing for VP.
Hope so mate.

One thing for sure is that if Rob gets anything like best form out of those 4,we improve drastically.

We could get rid of Sa, Hwang and Munetsi that’s three spaces opened up.
Personally I would add Totti, Bellgarde, Jsl and Arais ( if he does not start to show the form of the player we thought him to be).
Also looking at some of the players in the games ive been watching at lately, there are plenty of quality u21 players, i would think would be cheap enough, and jump at the chance to come to us ?

Would take Heskey’s lad for on loan next season either way….looks a hell of a player!

Who is going to take Strand Larsen off us. He's been awful. We will be lucky to get our money back right now. That Newcastle bid has probably distorted the views of him tbh.

I don't think he's been fully fit all season.... but more than that, he needs a creative player up near him and we've had zero creativity. Other clubs will still know what he's capable of when he has support.

I can see him going to a team like Brentford... or even Sunderland and doing very well.

You simply won't get any decent money for him while his performance and more importantly, effort levels have been so poor. I genuinely can't see why anyone would be interested in a player who relies so much on others to thrive if you are a middle of the road to bottom half team. While I do think he has suffered to a point from lack of service, his general play just doesn't offer enough to the team.

He's been extremely poor this season, that's for sure.

I hope that Joao hangs around but I'm almost resigned to the fact that he'll move on to pastures new, whether that be in January (to try and resurrect his World Cup hopes), or during the Summer.
It feels like those dying embers of a relationship when you know the girlfriend has made her mind up and wants to move on yet your heart wishes otherwise.
Of the current playing staff, he'll be the one that I'll miss the most, as I remember that day at Southampton when 10 men Wolves stormed back to win 2-1 with Joao netting the winner.
Oh did we go ****ing crazy!
Neto went the craziest - his reaction to Wolves' fans giving him stick was symbolic of our decline.

Running across the pitch as a sub to celebrate João's winner to cupping his ears ala MGW.

Full 180 from Neto and fans alike. What a fickle game we follow.

I've noticed on social media stories about this forrin* player is unhappy and wants to leave and that forrin* player. I see it as propaganda to ease in the sale of said players. Much like the guff about Edwards being one of our own.
They really do think that ALL football fans are as thick as ****e.

1 loan? I think we might bringing couple in but not expecting anything major

We would be stupid not to sell a few also worth more before we get relegated
Don't worry they will soon sell a few...that's the first thing they think off in a window ..it's why we are in this mess.

It would be amusing, if it wasn't so pathetic, foreign club ownership trying to tap into the inate xenophobia of parts of the fanbase to get away with yet more outrageous behaviour.

He's at Leicester now on loan, every time he plays for Wales he's excellent, still only 21 I think and would be a good signing at the right price
Just read Leicester have a €5 million option to buy him. That's a very good price for him

Sorba thomas of Stoke would be a good signing. Always plays well for Wales and good enough for the prem. Jordan James is another, class player currently on loan at Leicester
I was talking to my mate who is a Leicester fan and he thinks Jordan James is way too good for them.

Your right the only way is that he is made captain straight away by Edwards and try to convince him he can lead a new era of growth. Not sure how appealing it would be but right now the only player I would be loathed to see leave would be Krejci. Unfair I guess on pitbull but he is going regardless.

Gomes had done his time we will make profit, Andre hasn't really wanted to be here sold a dud

Id lobe krejci to stay wherever we are
