Let’s face it, we are safe now, so who is the most deserving player of the season?

Patricio - had his critics this season but still dependable, world class and reliable

Coady - Captain of club and (occasionally) country, leader and now goalscorer

Neves - hasn’t hit the consistent heights of previous seasons but still one of our best

Neto - probably our star player, has really kicked on

Silva - youngster who has been thrown in the deep end and shown great maturity

Jimenez - would you give it to Raul for sentimental reasons?

Difficult to look past Neto. Neves gets an honourable mention though.

In all honesty I don’t think anyone has been consistently good all year (it’s not been that kind of year). There have been flashes of quality here and there and god awful flashes elsewhere. Classic example Moutinho looked imperious against Liverpool but was passing into touch in other games. Semedo was brilliant against Fulham but garbage in other moments. No one has really been consistent this year (for obvious reasons).
For me Neto has been the brightest spark and I love how Fabio is developing.

1) Neves - does the ugly jobs most people don't notice consistently well, hardly had a bad game all season. Had a good scoring run too.
2) Neto - dropped off a bit lately unlike Neves which is why I've got him 2nd.
3) Semedo - after a dodgy first few months he's now our best performing player imo. (not sure how he's not made the poll tbh!)

Neto, he's emerged as our best attacker this season and kicked on since last season.
I don't think anyone has improved this year except maybe Neves who has become more influential this season compared to the first 2 premier seasons

Semedo for coming back each game with a solid 6 or 7 although people make out he plays like he has cement in his boots. Fair play to the lad. In all honesty, neto.

Neto been excellent apart from last few games but needs more goals. Love Neves as a son but CC for me. Good season, outstanding leadership, goalscorer and vice captain for England. And he doesnt even have a proper song.

Sorry to sound so harsh, but I think that says more about the sorry state of the English national side than Conor Coady/Wolves.
