Apparently IFAB have agreed a new handball rule whereby it will not be considered handball if the ball hits the equivalent of a T-shirt silhouette ie the upper arm. This can be applied from when the season restarts - how is that fair?

Unfortunately I believe FIFA later banned this kind of design.

I am unclear whether that treats attackers and defenders the same -if it doesn't I still have a problem with it.

Surely it’s still down to interpretation? The referee on the pitch or in the VAR studio still has to decide whether it’s within the line or not?
