FA win over Post Brexit plan says Mail.

Are we on the list of top academies -seems like preferential treatment for big six otherwise.

What we need to know is how this would have affected recruitment if it had been operating since the Fosun takeover.
I love the way that article regards the Home Office as nothing more than a rubber stamp. Given some of the Home Secretary's public comments l wouldn't be surprised if football got a shock - for a start the proposed scheme is incredibly Eurocentric which is contrary to the whole HMG direction of travel....

Premier League quality will absolutely crater with those proposals, loads of Championship quality English cloggers. At least the national team will go back to the glory days of the 80s and early 90s. The next Carlton Palmer should be delighted.

Terrible idea. It's up to the clubs to define quality and what they're willing to pay on transfer fees and wages.
The problem is British players that are any good demand higher wages and fees than just as good foreign players. So why should clubs pay through the nose just because they're British?

The Home Office have said that as long as FA agree it they’ll sign off ,in the past at least

Extend that to all forms of employment.

Restrictions on signing U21's makes some more of an insight into this last summers signings.
