Just wondered if anyone knows any history for the Aldridge area. Like any former hospitals that used to be around here or old grave yards. Is there anywhere I can go to find out thanks.

Try the County Archives in Stafford.

When I wanted information regarding Hinckley and the surrounding villages I found the local library very helpful. Books they had t got they informed where I could find them. Leicestershire county council were also very helpful.

Local archives would be the best place to start, depending how far back you need to go, parish records too.

Local library and local archives were very useful to us when we were researching Edgy Towers built in 1745...

Thanks. Will start of at the library I think. We have had a little spooky things happen in our house so wanted to know if anything was there before it was built.
