A thread dedicated to “international round up” of our players would be good..
Now, who would be good at starting and updating such a thread……….
He must be mgmt…. He’s looking for others to do the workYou're in mgmt aren't you?

MLS and the Championship aren’t far apart, are they? Surely a right-footed, athletic 22 y/o Colombian international CB/RB playing in a top Championship side/defence would pique your interest, especially if we can get him before the window opens. We’re currently stocked for a 4-3-3, not a 3-4-3, have 4 CBs for 3 spots. Not in a position to be picky. Forget about Jonny and Doc.23 games isn't enough. Next to test him in a better league than mls.
What is your connection with StockportJust to pre empt @giantwolf a bit.
I was at Edgeley Park today and Alfie Pond was an unused substitute.
Caveat though. On the hour Stockport were about to make a double substitution.
One midfielder, and Alfie.
However an injured player made the manager change his mind at the last minute.
Alfie would have had 30+ minutes otherwise.
(At the end of the game, I managed to inform him of the news from Bournemouth)
Wow. Just noticed the comment re. the abandonment of the Greek derby. That is certainly a very serious rivalry.Sunday 22nd October
Yerson Mosquera played 90 mins as Cincinnati drew 2-2 at home to Atlanta Utd
Theo Corbeanu came on for the final
25 mins, was booked and provided two assists as Grasshoppers beat Lugano 2-1 at home. After being back at Compton for a period to receive treatment, Nigel Lonwijk was back on the bench but was an unused substitute
Daniel Podence provided an assist before Olympiacos vs Panathinaikos was abandoned at 1–1. A firework was thrown at the Panathinaikos substitutes and one of them went down injured
Its a worry how few of our loanees are being used even at clubs playing at a much lower standard.Unused, unused, unused. I guess Guedes sucks in Portugal too.

Think Guedes was doing ok in Portugal (well, much better than here anyway), before his injury.

More to this hoever got man of the match, i turned on and watched.Wednesday 25th October
Luke Cundle came on for the final 25 mins as Plymouth beat Sheff W 3-0 at home. Thats Luke's 13th appearance for Plymouth, and 10th consecutive appearance (albeit only 4 starts in those 10)
Dexter Lembikisa played 90 mins and was booked as Rotherham beat Coventry 2-0 - Dexter has made 12 appearances for Rotherham - all but one being a starting spot
Ki Jana Hoever played 90 mins as Stoke beat Leeds 1-0. That's Ki's 13th appearance of the season for Stoke, the majority of which have been starts
Missed the MOTM, thanksMore to this hoever got man of the match, i turned on and watched.
He has a weird setup in Alex neils team, it looks likes he has free reign on the right and they have players cover him to bomb on.
I mean he left gaps which leeds should have exploited imo
But he getting rave reviews from commentators for his dead piece delivery which in affect caused the goal and equally his one on defending which denied leeds chances
As a replacement and understudy to semedo i think hes there, do i think hes prem ready full time starter (no) he is like Ran season 1 leaves to many gaps. Would work well in a 5 though
That is interesting, particularly as we had to play an injured Doc to cover RB last saturdayMore to this hoever got man of the match, i turned on and watched.

Thanks. Didn't realise that this is the norm for 1st loans.I normally do a round up of % mins played at Christmas and the end of season.
To be fair, first loans are often lower on minutes… Pond, Tipton, Roberts & Griffiths are all on first loans and they’ll probably be at the bottom of the % mins played chart… not a surprise.
First loans, whilst minutes are clearly desirable, it’s also very much about gaining experience being within a first team squad, fighting for a place
Saturday 28th October
Luke Cundle played his first 90 mins of the season and provided an assist as Plymouth lost 3-2 away at Ipswich
Ki Jana Hoever played 90 mins as Stoke beat Middlesbrough 2-0 away. That is Stokes third win on the trot since KJH returned from injury
Chem Campbell wasn’t in the Charlton squad as Charlton lost 2-0 at home to Bolton
No Tyler Roberts for the fifth game running as Doncaster beat Grimsby 1-0
Harvey Griffiths was an unused substitute as Walsall lost 2-1 away at Mansfield
Ollie Tipton was also an unused substitute for Notts County as they lost 2-0 at home to Wrexham

Louie Moulden played 90 mins as Rochdale beat Hartlepool 3-2 away

Goncalo Guedes came on for the final 3 mins as Benfica drew 1-1 at home to Casa Pia
Great summary as always. It really frustrated me to see so many of our young loanees not getting minutes.Saturday 28th October

11 games - 5 goals and 2 assist
I'm still utterly convinced he'll make it!
Sunday 5th November
Yerson Mosquera played 90 mins, was booked and missed his penalty in the penalty shootout as Cincinnati beat New York Red Bulls to win both their games in their playoff series 2-0. The score was 1-1 after 90 mins. Cincinnati progress to the quarter finals to play the winner of Philadelphia or New England. Yerson was also booked, thats his 10th yellow in all comps (in 31 games)
Nigel Lonwijk (unknown) and Theo Corbeanu (calf) have both picked up fresh injuries so were absent from Grasshoppers 2-0 loss away at Luzern. Nigel had only just begun training after recovering from his previous injury layoff.
Chem Campbell had a rare start for Charlton as they drew 1-1 vs minnows Cray Valley in the FA Cup. Chem played 74 minutes.
Daniel Podence played 73 mins as Olympiacos lost 4-2 at home to PAOK
Getting ready then to qualify as ready to be included in our first team squad.Corbeanu is apparently an ankle ligament rupture and Lonwijk has torn his hamstring
