Wonder if we could convince Bulka. Still under contract for 2 1/2 years though.

24 years old. 6'5. Having a huge breakout year in Ligue 1.
Worth 20m if we get 40m for Sa
Sell Silva get Dia
Bring in Rowe whatever change we have left from Guedes

not happening at that price is it
Release clauses rarely get activated these days, they get massively inflated and it's just a way to protect the club's investment. It's different to their asking price. Barcelona by themselves have 4 players with a release clause of 1 billion euros

Read somewhere his club are hoping for up to €20million. Expensive but doable if he's that good.

If true, whilst technically (probably) all above board, after the Neves fee it has a bit of a dodgy look to it.

It's a Jorge 'special', which sometimes you benefit from and sometimes you are on the recieving end.of......but it will be all above board.......we are not the only club who gets them..

I wouldn't rule out our new keeper coming from a Jorge linked club .....with it being 20m for us and 20m passed on ...I'm hoping for the Valencia keeper .

My nomination for Sa replacement as above.

Absolute Giant of a keeper and moves really well

Sa is decent but at £40M you gotta go for it and use it to get a couple of players in. Will believe it when I see it though.

That stuff on Ramsdale seems worse than it is.

Goalkeepers are a bit eccentric at the best of times, it's not like their new keeper is any better than him.

i like him but again we signed him for a few million, would be a dream for FFP if we make a quick profit of 5-10m - imagine hes on decent wages too so could swap him out for another young and hungry Brazilian et al

Another high potential player well worth the €20m bid though. Will only get better if he plays. Does that mean we plan to move on Kilman for 40/50m?

Mosquera will be match ready when he comes back too. Hopefully people are not going to right him off like they did with Toti because he’s learnt in mostly a tinpot league
£50 million for Kilman?!?!?!? Lol. What’s next, £100 million for Neto?!?!?

Does it though? We can’t moan when we’ve benefitted from our relationship with Grasshoppers in blooding young players and no one kicked up a fuss with Watford and their link to Udinese or the network of clubs for Man City.
Those clubs are still bound by FFP though the problem is that the Saudi clubs aren’t.

It’s one thing sending young players out to gain experience with a view to returning and playing for the parent club or being sold for a profit. What we’re talking about here is the circumvention of FFP rules, by Saudi clubs buying world class players just to loan them out to Premier League clubs they also own with no cost to the PL club. Newcastle could end up with a vastly improved team for free that they could never afford to buy within current rules
