Whilst some will shout “cheap option” at our appointments I’m glad we’ve gone down the route of young manager and coaches mixed with a bit of experience in Derry. Much like when you sign young players, young coaches/managers might not get it right all the time but what they lack they’ll make up for with enthusiasm and ambition to get to where they want to be.

Although at the time various appointments may have been underwhelming, I do wish people would give them a chance.

At the time some were saying it was the start of a managed decline, I'd view it as a reset and much needed to, hope Jeff's learnt from it and moves forward in a similar way.

Whole heartedly agree. Writing people off before they’ve even joined or had time to settle is hardly supporting the club.

I hope the same for Jeff. Whilst he gets some deserved stick he also gets a lot of undeserved stick and it’s easy to forget he has no background prior to joining us of the uniqueness of running a football club.

I set up my bills so they're paid automatically by direct debit.

Yep. My one issue is that the search facility will come up with 4507 news stories with the word City in it before he finds the posts.

Don't want to make a big deal out of it but it seems many posters on here rejoice in resurrecting ancient posts from others with the sole purpose of ridiculing them. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I expect in life we've all said/written things we've later regretted but not sure what purpose is served in dragging it all up again?

There are very few on here who have been as out spoken as myself over the years. All I'm trying to say is that if you have the balls to stand up and be counted it is tiresome to find some smart alik has dredged up some post you may have made years ago that has been trashed by subsequent events.
