Jamie Carragher has shared footage from Liverpool’s training ground and the ‘good news’ that Fabinho is back in training, as he posted on Instagram.
Will Fabinho play against Real Madrid in the Champions League final? That’s the million-dollar question and going by training, it seems as though it’s yes.
It’s probably different for Thiago Alcantara, who is also touch-and-go for the final, as he would be just a big of a miss as Fabinho.
But, those on Merseyside need to look at the positives and that’s the fact that their hard-hitting midfielder is being put through his paces at AXA’s training centre.
And this is what Carragher had to say, as he was at Liverpool’s training ground where the world’s media had descended.
“Right, we are here at the Liverpool training ground,” said Carragher.
“The AXA training ground, where we are watching Liverpool for the first 15 minutes train ahead of the Champions League final.
“As we can see, there is Klopp (zooms in on Liverpool boss). He is talking to a couple of fitness coaches there maybe.
“We can see the players, the good news is that Fabinho is definitely in the group. I can assure you he is in the group. I have seen him.”

FABINHO’S INJURY LATEST GOOD NEWS FOR LIVERPOOL FANS
Well, this is one less worry for Liverpool fans to worry about and now it’s probably about turning their attention to Thiago.
When Fabinho, Thiago and Jordan Henderson start for the Reds, they don’t lose many games and they will have their work cut out against Madrid’s midfield trio.
Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro have been outstanding this season, especially in the Champions League and it wouldn’t be a surprise if that’s where the game is won or lost.
The issue Jurgen Klopp faces is that he might not be able to play his strongest midfield, whilst Madrid have been easing towards the final after securing the La Liga title a number of weeks ago.
