Simple solution - do not have conflicting scripts running on the login page!

I cannot access the Mix on my iPad Pro. I can load the site but I cannot tap on any forum or anything at all. I’ve cleared the website data from Safari settings, rebooted the iPad, done a soft reset as well but it still won’t work.

I can’t access the site using Chrome either. I have had a little joy using a browser called Brave but only if I switch ad-blocking off.

Have you changed the ad-block settings on the website so it doesn’t allow anyone to access with blocking switched on?

Makes no difference. The site just completely freezes on my iPad whether it’s using Safari or Chrome. iPad has been rebooted numerous times, website data deleted etc.

I don't want to completely clear all cookies because it will delete them from all my iCloud devices. I would have to log in again and I think that won't happen especially after clearing just the website data in Safari on iPad and it now just freezes.

Ok so I’m in using Safari on iPad. I’ve had to turn off ad-blocking so it’s obviously something your end which is causing this. I’m not happy with having to turn off ad-blocking completely.

Yes I understand that. I allow some ads through but when it was switched off, the ads were practically full screen on the iPad.

It takes me an age to log in nowadays, to the point I've decided to just remain logged in, permanently!
The ads just seem to freeze everything up.
Quite what those who aren't members yet, but browse the forum with the intent of becoming one, think, is beyond me.
If they aren't aware that it's a different story, once you're a logged in member, then I wonder if it may put some off?

when I go to log in using my saved details it no longer logs in automatically, I've tried with stay logged in checked and not checked with no difference.

Not a big thing more a little niggle.

If I am posting something and I want to change something or add something or even quote something I find I cannot copy and paste. So I have to click and then backspaze to correct something. This is the only site I have experienced this.
Is this something to do with this site or if not has anyone got a clue why this is happening.

copy cut and paste seem to work fine for me drag to highlight (only very light grey so not easy to see) then right click to bring up copy and paste option

or use CTRL X and CTRL V on higlighted text etc..

it does if you are highlighting something in an area already posted, but not if you are in the pot /edit post area then it only comes up a very light grey which is very difficult to see with the standard set of colours, maybe something @bod101 might be able to change or help with

This is down to the style sheet of the site - if you look bottom left you'll see "mm-2.1" which is the style sheet name and the highlight colour will be set in there. Click it and select "Default" and it'll revert to the out-of-the-box style sheet... complete with blue highlight.

Perhaps this can be tweaked to be a more visible colour.

I'm currently using in Chrome browser on a windows PC, so yes it could well be different on android or iphone etc

Desktop might be different - depending on OS/browser. I'm MacOS/Safari so it looks as though mobile browsers might be configured differently... I suppose being able to see your highlight is more important if you're using your finger on a screen.

I think bod101 set up a lot of the fonts and styles when they switched to the current software running the forum, you could try posting on the sticky forum issues thread at the top of the page if you don't get a solution on this one

It is different highlighting within a post you're typing to one you're quoting from. Can't see any reason for that. Especially if it's a quoted post when the highlighting is the same colour as the background to the quote!

Does all need moving to forum issues though!

Not sure what outside influences or changes have happened since I posted but it is now working.

Don’t mind ads but to be constantly bombarded with them is so annoying.
