Is it the "Abbey" just across Stanley park...No, absolutely not the Arkles.
This is a small pub on a street corner.

Nope.Is it the "Abbey" just across Stanley park...
They also set fire to one too, there was a massive set to after it that was interesting to say the leastHe has a point. Of course, he can actually blame Stoke fans, who sometime ago came into town about 10am and smashed up a number of places, including the Spoons, which had previously accepted away fans, for the current situation. Not only is it police advised but coppers are regularly in and out of the pubs checking too.
Good game this!Is it the "Abbey" just across Stanley park...
There always fine in Liverpool......it's one of the best places for a drink for me , hence why we always follow the same pattern...get stuck in the pubs in the city centre, leg it to a taxi , about half hour before kick off , never make the journey in the taxi because you need a whazz....and get there half time....Good game this!
Went to Liverpool last game of the season (2 or 3 years ago?) got in a couple of pubs really close to the ground, 3 of us a bit worse for wear, but not taking the ****, locals seemed alright.
Get a few away fans in the Hogshead, presumably they turn up really early.
Any planks coming up from London who don’t get off in Birmingham for a few then into wolves for the match just haven’t done their research
The Flat iron? Have been in there before playing Everton away, but had assumed it was a no go for Liverpool. There's a pub that my mate and I use that's almost within touching distance of Anfield (the name escapes me).
Before now we've even rocked up wearing Wolves scarfs and apart from the odd comment about "the Doog" or Wolves being one of the more traditional clubs, we've never encountered any ill feeling or animosity tbh.
There's another pub called the Church where again we've felt welcomed.
That's not to say there arn't a few in the land that still live in the dark ages.
Sounds like most our trips to either ground too! There always fine in Liverpool......it's one of the best places for a drink for me , hence why we always follow the same pattern...get stuck in the pubs in the city centre, leg it to a taxi , about half hour before kick off , never make the journey in the taxi because you need a whazz....and get there half time....
The Midden?No, not that one.
This is a small pub on a street corner nicely tucked away in a backstreet.
You aye gotta worry , we aye all gonna turn up next time we play Liverpool and it's 10 deep at bar...After Christmas we probably won't be going there for a few years, so we will all have forgot...It's not, but I know the one you're referring to.
You can't swing a cat in half of them though, especially the few hours before a match...that's the problem There's definitely more capacity for drinkers in most towns and cities across the country....Wolverhampton has the second most pubs within a one mile radius of the ground, it's not like we are short on boozers
Away fans very limited optionsWolverhampton has the second most pubs within a one mile radius of the ground, it's not like we are short on boozers
Free pints and then free points. You can't swing a cat in half of them though, especially the few hours before a match...that's the problem There's definitely more capacity for drinkers in most towns and cities across the country....
They shouldn't be moaning anyway these away fans , they all get 3 points when they come here anyway and they want us to leave the bars empty so they can ave a drink as well.....
