Expected based on tonight's fixtures. They all seemed so straight forward.

Saturday will be interesting. Difficult games for the teams above us.

At least everyone will have won their footy coupons.

Trying to work out if this a weaker league than usual or if there are more strong sides than previous years.

Derby, Middlesbrough, Norwich and Watford are very decent sides.

Norwich was a great win, could have easily dropped points there. Rest pretty much expected. They can't all win sat though.

It gets steadily worse every year IMO.

Thanks Tring so we can still get up there if we keep going the way we are

Bournemouth haven't won yet. Tricky game away to Forest tomorrow and we play them next week. The gap could be closing/

I've had a horrible feeling for ages that those dreadful sendings-off against Bournemouth could be the difference between a play-off place and just missing it out.

We'd only be 2 points behind them if we'd have won that one.

We will finish above Ipswich IMO. Just need one other. Was hoping it would be brentford but those $$$$$$s are starting to annoy me now!

What a nauseating prospect :(

Regardless of form, away trips are always more difficult . Especially at cardiff

Have some faith. We're decent away from home.

Our GD worries me. I have a feeling we'll miss out on GD, on something stupid like 76 points.

Norwich v Ipswich this weekend. Huge game.

They're the top 4 for me. Think B'mouth will drop to 5 or 6, that leaves us fighting for 1 place with MM and Bees. Think we can/will catch Brentford but can see MM screwing us again? Sat 18 April could be a genuine 6 pointer?

We've kept on a par though - which is vital.

Would have been a set back had we lost with the others winning - but it hasn't happened, so its irrelevant. Onwards and upwards :)

Norwich v Ipswich on Sunday.

Would be great if we could get a result at the weekend.

I'll put Bournemouth, Brentford and Watford as a treble. That should help us!

Since the formation of the Premier League, the highest ever points total required to scrape 6th for the Div 1/Championship play offs is 76 points.

For Watford to get that, they still need 17 points from 13 games. Not quite a relegation-form slump, but not entirely out of the question either depending on who they've got to play.

For a fairly mad comparison (and to perhaps answer a question from above), have a look at the League One table. Pretty much every team outside of the relegation zone can harbour realistic ambitions of the play offs.

I remember a season in L1 (09/10?) where Huddersfield finished 6th with 80 points and Southampton, in seventh, who'd had 10 points deducted, had 73. So if they hadn't have had the points docked Hudds would've finished 7th with 80, and I think Swindon would've finished 6th with 82. A points total that high is not entirely out of the question this year.

I think the heartache of another play off defeat would finally put me in my box

Maybe not realistic but if we win the next five on the bounce we have a real chance. Fitness of our 1st eleven is crucial but confidence and momentum is the be all and end all at this stage of the season.

But so are we currently!
