There is a natural bias in favour of backing one of "your own". However, there needs to be a shift in thinking, such that having a decision overturned is not seen as a "black mark". The VAR officials can see things that an on field referee couldn't be expected to see.
I try not to default to "outrage" mode with what happens to the Wolves. I usually succeed and keep serene. However, with what has happened to us over points lost to appalling errors, I am afraid that "outrage" it is.
Fortunately, there is a growing awareness of the autism spectrum due to people like Chris Packham. I have a close relative who has Asperger's and have some appreciation of the difficulties (and delights) that come with it.
I should imagine that relationship between the two boards is a little frosty. I wonder if Jeff will raise the issue when he goes into their boardroom for a cup of Darjeeling and a sticky bun.
