Hi Mods, seem to have an issue loading the Mol Mix forum, soon as I click the link it just shows a blank white screen. I can navigate all other parts of the forum without issues. On a android phone, tried the usual resetting browser, clearing data etc

I am having the exact same issue when trying to access the forum on an iPhone.

I've been using the forum on my laptop recently but the adverts keep loading randomly and dragging me back up to the top of the screen.

The joke thread does not show up on my computer. To access it I have to click on a link that WickedWolfie left me when I posed the question on September 2nd 2021. Help please.

is it every time or intermittent?

The white screen thing is every time I try to check the forum on Safari. I can click topic links on the homepage but can't load main forum page.

Adverts keep playing up on the web (laptop).

I've been getting the same problem with the white screen on the main forum (but okay on other parts of the site).

I've discovered that it only happens on the home wifi — it's fine on 4G. Odd.

While you are investigating Safari.

I've had this for ages more annoying than anything as it all works.

When I start up MolMix, I get the home page quickly flash up then quickly gets replaced by another home page exactly the same as the first on. This is only on first connecting,

Once logged in if I look at a thread when I go back it's like a time machine and is not the same page as I was first on, I just have to remember to do a refresh page.

Mine is the same on Wi-Fi and 4G using iPhone. iPad ok though.

Hi Bod, one more to add to the white screen issue: it's now fixed! Wasn't loading for a few weeks, saw the above messages, just tried and now it's working for the first time in a while. You're a genius! Thanks.

Maybe the size or file extension
It normally gives a message when it's too large.

It's a .jpg that is 544kb, can't understand it?

Have just tried uploading from PC as well, thought might be an iphone issue, but same problem.

Why are posts deleted without an explanation? Especially when said posts are not offensive or abusive...

Having issues when I'm quoting posts like the Prediction League. Quote the message then start typing the scores and then the message just starts disappearing and going all over the place.

This has been going on for a while and is still just as annoying.

When I open a thread to read it then go back to the forum it performs time travel and goes back to a list of threads which are not the present, click refresh and it come back to the present day.

This is intermittent so I expect will be impossible to sort out.

I'll try and keep a log to see if there is a pattern to this.

If it's showing old stuff I would say that is a caching issue on your side I'm afraid. Does it happen when your on a particular WiFi connection?

I'm still getting issues when quoting messages for the Prediction League where I try to type in scores but the writing just scrambles up and goes all over the place.

I don't know what causes it, I can only guess that if the quote has any tables or stuff pasted in from elsewhere that something in the original formatting screws everything up.

Emptied the cache and the problem is still there.

thanks
I'm just wondering wether your internet provider or router has a separate cache, probably not is the answer, but you aren't using any non standard internet provider or router?

There will be some server work done in the next couple of weeks so hopefully it might fix your problems
