Richard stearman

Well we all said at the time what a daft move it was loaning out a defender to strengthen a side below you (regardless how much we don't rate him)

Now being proven to be even dafter move to give him away to a rival

Stearman is a quality CB, $$$$ed off that he will be gone in the summer.

Why? What's he done at Ipswich? I was hoping MM would come in for a whole load of our dross - interestingly he didn't?

Clean sheet today against Leicester and their strike force (Wood, Nugent, Kane and Knockaert).

Didn't have a problem loaning him out. But very silly to do so to a direct relegation rival.

I've read them Mutchy and they were very interesting. But surely it still doesn't make sense to loan a player to a direct rival in a relegation battle.

If he was being a disruptive influence in the Changing Room and no other sides were interested then make him train away from the First Team squad.

We've got a changing room full of disruptive influences. They're all cronies of you know who. I wish they'd all $$$$ed off when he did. All they're going to do is take us down and then $$$$ off. Disgrace the whole lot of them, the sooner they're all out of our club the happier I'll be.

Berra and stearman were our best partnership, I would play stearman and Batth if he was still here.

Stearman was gash and usually had one mistake a game in him. He was a below average CB and an awful right-back and is one player that could possibly make our team worse than it is at the present moment.

As I said different views on stearman

But regardless of our views why do you strengthen a direct rival?? If he went burnley nowhere near the bottom fine

But team below you makes no sense

We needed shut of him & Ipswich took the risk, the fact that he`s (currently) improving them is just an unfortunate biproduct of the deal, they`re also IIRC paying his overinflated wages aren`t they?

Would anyone seriously sooner see Stearman in the team instead of Johnson. Gorkss, Batth or even for that matter Doherty / Foley at RB ? JC's "revelations" although it was obvious already from his body language simply reinforce this.

Let's hope Mick plays him regularly and often. If he hasn't made any mistakes yet then by the laws of statistics they will surely come. A leopard doesn't change its accident prone and useless spots.

I'm glad the square chinned poser is gone. Always liable to make a howler of a mistake. Is he one of the old guard who campaigned for TC and didn't like Ståle?

Shame he'll be back in the summer. Lets hope Mick buys him.

I wasn't too sad that he left but to loan him out to another team in the same relegation scrap is another stupid decision to add to ever increasing list of stupid decisions made in the last 18 months.

It's a bit like United loaning Hernandez out to Man City because he doesn't play every week.

I have to agree. Apparently he has done well since joining them - what a surprise!

Because he is a quality CB who gets an earful when he makes a couple of mistakes....your all forgetting we had a very young squad in the premiership where mistakes would happen....

As if Stearman will have any bearing on the relegation issue? So he's at Ipswich - he can be a liability for them like he was for us much of the time.

I can't be the only person who finds the term "...." pretty offensive.

Exactly point I was making

I'm not worried he's been loaned out more point who to! If he'd gone say leeds then fair enough but to team lower is madness
