Just want to get an overview of everyones thoughts at this stage in the season, should be interesting reading it back a few months down the line.

Go and look at people's opinions between January and May last season. Then pull out all the people who wanted him sacked then and were wrong.

Good Luck with that!

We've had this discussion about twice a season - every season - since he took over. And he's always hit back.

If we lose the next 5 then it's time to re-assess. But, for now, my faith in Mick has not wavered

If we lose the next 5? Are you serious!!!!

That will be ten in a row and we'll be relegated.

Yes you are!

Something needs to change though. The coaching set up IMO.

Did you mean once a week after every game between January 31st and May 22nd?

We just started early this seaon. Just like Xmas adverts come round earlier each year.

Fair point. I just think the short-sightedness on here is astounding.

We've hit a brick wall
MM out.

Unless you mean it ironically, in which case I completely missed it!

What short-sitedness exactly? The fact that McCarthy is seemingly invincible?

If somebody offered my O'Neill right now I'd change.

But to just sack Mick and see who else we could get is asking for trouble. There's a lot of bad managers out there at the moment.

If we could get a quality manager in now then McCarthy should be on his bike. Too many excuses given for McCarthy, in my opinion. We look a very poor side and you have to ask yourself the question, whose fault is this?
McCarthy is in effect the head coach so he must shoulder the majority of the responsibility for the current shambles.

IMHO its not just MM who have to go it would be the likes of clip board also.
the trouble with O'Neil he wants to run things his way and doesnt like interference from others ie Moxey and Morgan. saying that theres only him and Hughes who i think are out there to change things for the better

MM OUT NOW. If we want more of this then stick with him but in our 3rd season we need to be moving forward. MM likes grafters, triers but we have no quality and how can he turn decent players like RJ and JOH into demoralised misfits in such a short time? Time now to bring in someone who can move this squad forward - MM sure as hell ain't gonna do it.

I had a poo at half time and was thinking about who might be available IF we were to replace Mick. Mark Hughes was the name that plopped out first.

Hughes would never come to Wolves. He left Fulham because they didn't "match his ambition".

MICK IN

I agree with the O'Neill suggestion - if someone offered me O'Neill for Mick, I'd gladly change. Not because I want Mick out, simply because O'Neill is a better manager.

But, as that won't happen, it's a firm Mick IN for me. Stability always triumphes IMO.
