We're no Barcelona but they certainly try to pass the ball about (at times) and on occasion it does come off. Some games seem to be predominantly long ball but other times Wolves try to work the ball.

And to be fair it says 'beautiful football' rather than 'passing football', depends what you think is beautiful I guess. For me Zubar robbing Essien, charging to 20 yards out and playing in Doyle was pretty sweet.

We don't always. But we are capable of it. We played some lovely stuff in patches against Liverpool, and at other times this season (Arsenal, Stoke, Chelsea away for example). We just don't have the quality to play like that for 90 minutes week in week out. But we certainly can play some decent football.

This season has provided some of the best passing football I've seen from a Wolves team.

I'm thinking of:

Stoke (first half)
Chelsea
Man Utd (league)
and especially Arsenal (didn't we have something like 59% possession?)

Granted there has been some poor but to say we don't play good passing football or are incapable of it is unfair imo.

I'm disappointed we haven't taken that style of play into the games since Arsenal because I think we're good at it. Mick obviously wants to play a more direct game by getting the ball up the pitch quickly and working the opposition in their half. Not my preference but not going to moan, he knows more than me after all.

We play some decent football and have done many times this year. If we don't play beautiful passing football, what the hell do Liverpool play, because we outpassed and outplayed them?
