Morecambe's New Badge

Worst in the country? Some might say they're catering a bit too much to the prawn sandwich brigade

Is that a cross between "District 9" and "Attack on Precinct 13" ?

Edit - or even "Assault on Precinct 13"! Sometimes the irony is almost too much to bear!

A new Morecambe FC badge incorporating a traffic light on red would have been better.

According to Colin Crompton (of The Comedians fame) watching a traffic light change in Morecambe town centre is the most exciting thing to do in the resort.

Of course Morecambe could also have used a face of Eric for a bit of a laugh. I think he supported Fulham though.

I'm disappointed that under the prawn they didn'r put a nice inscription in heraldic style, bearing the legend 'We once beat Wolves 3-1 in the League Cup' in Latin.
