And as usual Glasgow you've gone into a discussion with you normal "bull in a china shop" way!!!!!!

I believe it was stated at the parliament in respons to someone asking why we did not buy a replacement.

I repeat that's what JANUARY was for. Are you seriously telling me Mick turned down Routledge, Moses & Carlos Edwards in JANUARY 2010?

So Moxey said, so I have to trust Mick, so far he got us up, and we have only spent 4 weeks in the bottom 3 all season despite being shagged with Injury's If Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal had lost the same amount of players they would have struggled. It's easier for Arsenal and man u to lose those players far easier than us. and before some smart $$$$ comes and say's they would not get in there squad I know but it's like taking nani etc out the Utd squad.
The injury thing is just another excuse. Every team has injuries and we haven't had a disproportionate number of them. Previous seasons have been much unkinder to us. In fact, I don't think we've been that unfortunate, it's just our squad is crap. The prime example of this is when we're praying Edwards will be our saviour when he's back. What have things come to?!

Football clubs rarely make money! And they shouldn't spend money that they simply don't have. The only way to sustainably pay millions in transfer fees and tens of thousands in wages is by having a super rich owner who pays for it all. We don't.
The football club might not make money but that isn`t the same as the people who own it not making money out of the club, which then helps the club not to make money in the accounts, and the club can then say `we don`t make a profit`.

Without trolling through these boards, Reading boards at the time, papers etc. etc. I remember reading it. Proof I can't unless I go through everything at the time of Doyle's interest but I do remember it quite distinctly that he had actually sat with Mick before deciding on Hull. That's why when Wolves showed interest in January I couldn't believe the amounts been banded about.

Lets be honest them 3 players are all a better option than foley at the minute and a better option than Keogh and edwards on the wing if and when they return.

Ok so you're going down the sinister "leeching money from the club" route again. All very dramatic, but highly unlikely. First it was Hayward, now Morgan, why don't people just use their common sense and realise exactly who robs the club of money... the players with their inflated wages and other clubs with their inflated valuation of players.

You may be right of course, but why don't you spend some time analysing the past accounts for actual hard evidence of cooking the books rather than throwing around wild accusations. If you dig something up you'll gain support for your agenda.

Who really cares about a gulf.
I care for where Wolves will be on sunday may 9th at 5pm after the Sunderland match at Molineux.
Will they be 17th or better - or won't they?

Didn't mean to have a pop, but I did say RARELY make money. However there are plenty of wolves fans that genuinly believe this conspiracy theory nonsense without having any solid evidence whatsoever.

Sadly they spread this rubbish in the pubs and on forums such as this, which ultimately ends up in the stands, creating an atmosphere of negativity and chants of "Where's the money gone" like we saw last time. Instead of asking the question why don't they put their negative energy into actually finding out where it's gone... they'll be disappointed to find out the boring reality.

Wages, bonuses, transfer fees, agent fees, ground maintenance, other operating costs that I or 99% of other Wolves fans have no idea about as they've never run a football club??

I'm not accusing the club of anything so don't have to defend myself. If someone thinks they can prove the club are thieving ***** then fill your boots. Evidence please...

So Moxey said mate.

in the parliament Moxey said we did not try to sign a wide player in the summer.
last week Moxey said we were offered plenty of foreigners and championship players but Mick felt they would not improve the Squad / team.

Not saying I agree, just saying that was Moxey's comments

Moxey said we were not in for a wide player, Hunt is a wide player
yet you think they were.... where is your proof?

Or is it just another way to try and knock the club and moxey

Strange then because Moxey said we were not, may be Moxey Enquired and Mick decided no.

IMHO it was wrong not to buy him. I was fuming in the summer with our transfer purchases yet on here I was getting slated for moaning.

Still am angry as $$$$ over the summer signings but we have to go with what we have.

A lot of proven prem players I suggested were not good enough according to most on here well they would have been better than most we bought.

OK Glasgow...I've scoured all the 09 sites I could think of, papers, rumor mills, fans web sites etc. and I retract that Wolves were interested in Hunt or that Mick spoke to him. I really thought I had read that somewhere but can't prove it so I apologies for that statement.

No worries mate I asked because I was genuinly interested in seeing the reports.
as said on other threads, Mick did not want to buy a wide player in the summer and only wanted Hunt because he could improve the first team.

Everyone is complaining about Moses, yet Wigan's manager has said he is not going to make an impace this season, may be Mick was only interested in making an impact this season.
Do we need Moses for next season if we go down? Highly unlikely IMHO he would not make the team.

If Hull go down, we will IMO buy Hunt for less than the 5 Million

No chance, he'll want to stay in the Premier.
