I see what you did there.

So tell me, which players were played out of position today?

I'll take that as long as "fighting Mic
k" starts fighting and plays 4-4-2!

First thing, drop Mancienne. As for the rest of it, haven't got a clue. The confidence is that low it sort of makes the formation worthless.

I'd swap Surman and Jarvis since Jarvis is naturally right footed
I'd have Milijas in midfield with Henry, but I have to say, I dont think Mancienne had a bad game today.

Rest yes.

What did Mancienne do well out of interest just so I can see how you arrived at this bizarre conclusion?

Yeah, you're wrong. Alas, I think Henry is suspended so we might have to suffer the misfortune of Mancienne in central midfield again.

-----------------Hahn---------------------

Foley-----Stearman----Berra--------Zubar

Jarvis-------Henry------Milijas-------Ward

--------------Doyle--SEB---------------

For me.

MM ain't going to change negative formation against one of the top 6 sides. We're going down without a fight which really p***** me off.

Hopefully Mick was resting Milijas for Spurs, him and Guiedoura(how do you spell/pronounce that) in for Jones and Mancienne, Zubar over to left back, Foley to right back. Give Maierhofer a chance up top with Doyle.

4-4-2, but not 2 wingers, I think that formation worked well when we had Edwards on the right, so try it with Adlene, he clearly likes getting forward, might actaully get beyond the strikers occassionally

I made it 3 plus Stephen Ward who hasnt really got a specialist position.

Thats 3 too many in my book.

And 451 and running scared of a team we finished above last season isnt good enough imo.

If its good enough for you then fair do's.

IIRC we've passed the cut-off point for the "totting up" of yellow cards so it now goes on to 10 yellows equalling a suspension. Two games though (I think)

i'm assuming that henry is suspended...

for me if 442

---------------Hahn---------------

Foley----Craddock--Berra-------Ward

Mjuangi----Castillo--Milijas------Jarvis

----------Doyle-----SEB--------------

or 433

---------------Hahn---------------

Foley----Craddock--Berra-------Ward

------Castillo--Milijas---Surman

-------Doyle-----------Jarvis
--------------The Hof

i'd also be tempted to maybe change one of the centre halves for either mancienne or zubar for their pace.

No changes, the only one I would contemplate is Mancienne for Belgian 1, play belgian 1 as the box to box player. I would have to see how he does in training. If Henry had been sitting Carr would not have run 40 yards

Foley------Mancienne---------Zubar---------Ward

Jarvis------Henry------------Froggy--------Surman

-------------Doyle------------------Hoff/Seb------

Not sure if Hoff is fit, go back to 4-4-2. we don't have the players to play 4-5-1.

I'd go:

-----------Hahnemann-----

Foley----Craddock----Berra----Ward

Jarvis----Henry-----Mancienne-----Surman

-----------Doyle-----SEB---------

Surman's left-footed and we desperately need more creativity than yest. He's a talented player. Jarvis is right-footed. They can always swap during the game.

Keep the central midfield tight. I've not been much of a Mancienne fan (especially at centre half, way too lightweight) but he did break up a lot in the Blues midfield yest. Can't afford soft centre so keep Henry in there too - can always bring on Milijas as sub if we need more creativity/guile from the midfield.

And for crying in a bucket, stick Foley back at RB. Anyone in their right minds can see he needs to play there - our best player last season, so let's neutralise that positivity by playing him out of position!!! Even though Zubar's been good, that's tough. Someone has to drop out to find the right balance for the good of the overall team.

And SEB can't get his confidence back from the bench. Doyler's been amazing, imagine what he could do by having a team-mate within 20 yards of him when he's holding up the ball.
