Tempted to swap Craddock for Zubar, but having not yet seen him play in his specialist position (EVEN IN CUP GAMES!) i wouldnt risk it for this game.
Would probably opt for the 451 formation against Spurs to start the game and if things go pear shaped change to the 442.
Ps. Where has Cassillo disappeared to?

You need to do some research on me I think

Had me thinking you were a numty

See above

Anyway I don't reckon there'll be many (if at all) changes from Sunday. And for those on this Thread advocating them aren't you normally slating Mick for his continuous "tinkering"? Can't win can he? In both senses of the phrase.

Real quality players could do that, I somehow think 3 of the best centre defenders in world football are streets ahead of anything we can hope to field.

Well two that won't be playing are Castillo and the Hoff. They played in the reserves today against Wrexham winning 4-1. Hoff scored 2, found his level???

Castillo and The Hoff could play on Wednesday, it's only Monday yet and they've only been playing in a reserve game.

Should have taken SEB as well, he might have had the opportunity to re-discover where the goal is.

Seriously - what has happened to Castillo??? I have been impressed with him whenever I have seen him play - and I thought other people had to?
Does anyone know? Or am I on my own thinking he has something to offer in the middle...

makes you wonder whether the agreement we had with Chelsea means that Mancienne has to play a certain number of matches or something...

I would love to see both Milijas and Castillo in the middle and allow Surman to play out left with Jarvis on the right. Play Foley at RB and let loose the hoff to partner doyle. The rests ( USA,Craddock & Zubar plus Ward) remains unchanged and please Mick? If you are reading this, don't bring the subs in too late.....in the game.

I wouldn't have Zubar at CH personally... He's ok, and he has MASSIVE cult status - but I just don't get it... maybe it's just me - but he reminds me of Mo Camara tbh... lots of effort, lots of pace and some ability - but just not enough quality for me, and is therefore, prone to making silly mistakes...

And I'm not convinced enough by the Hoff either... SEB was playing well before we switched to 4-5-1 - so if we went 4-4-2 - I would stick with him...

My team would be 4-5-1 given our relative success at playing it...

-- -- -- -- -- -- Hahn -- -- -- -- -- --

Foley -- Berra -- Craddock -- Ward

-- -- -- Henry -- -- -- Castillo -- -- --

Jarvis -- -- -- Milijas -- -- -- Surman

-- -- -- -- -- -- Doyle -- -- -- -- -- --

Or if we go 4-4-2, I would go

-- -- -- -- -- -- Hahn -- -- -- -- -- --

Foley -- Berra -- Craddock -- Ward

Jarvis -- Henry -- Milijas -- Surman

---- -- -- Doyle -- -- SEB -- -- -- --

and with it a 0-2 defeat. No width no pace and an isolated striker.

-------------------------Hahnemann------------------------

Foley-------Craddock------------------Zubar-------Not Ward

--------------------------Henry-----------------------------

Bia/Halford---------Guedioura-----------Milijas-------------Jarvis

--------------------------Doyle-----------------------------

Seen enough of Guedioura on Sunday to suggest he'd give us some much needed physical presence and energy in the middle of the park, possibly reducing the demand on Milijas to work his $$$$ off - which we know he doesn't like to do. The suggestion about not Ward, it's not scapegoating him, but he's struggled recently, had a very poor game on Sunday and according to the paper is carrying an injury, there's no way on this planet I want him up against Lennon. Jarvis stays on the left to help out whoever plays left back, as he did to such good effect at White Hart Lane.

MM won't pick that team though, I expect to see Mancienne, Berra, Jones, and a half fit Ward play and Kevin Foley in midfield, with Milijas nowhere to be seen again

I wouldn't be THAT harsh on him, he definitely has some ability to go with his physical attributes but he also covers well from right back, remember him intercepting against Liverpool on numerous occasions which would suggest he can read the game reasonably well. Time will tell but he could go on to be a very good player IMO

Firstly Lennon is out, secondly the reports on the away game were almost unanimous that Ward had played a blinder against Lennon!

he does cover well - you're right - and i didn't wish to sound harsh - i am a huge fan, like many others, for his commitment alone - i just think if he was playing for any one of the other clubs in the premier league or championship - i don't think we would exactly be screaming out to sign him....

Han
Ward
Foley Foley Foley
Mancienne/Zubar - not Craddock, he won't win anything in the air against Crouch so we have to concentrate on the second ball. Pace is the order of the day.
Berra

Guedioura
Milijas
Henry
Jarvis
Surman

Doyle

Just make sure we break quickly enough to ensure if, by some miracle, we actually mount an attack, Doyle is not isolated.

Tempting to play SEB on the basis that surely he has to score again one day in place of Surman.

Most important to play Foley at right back.
Astonishingly we are still alive this season albeit despite our own best efforts. There are other awful teams in this league so we mustn't give up. A vociferous atmosphere may upset a traditionally mentally weak Spurs team. I doubt it though, 0-3.

TBH I couldn't give a monkeys who plays tonight. I have given my season tickets to a neighbour (poor sod!). I have decided to match my level of interest in the team to their level of interest in staying up. When they put in the effort, so will I. Enjoy!

In your opinion of course. If I gave my customers the value for money that my season ticket gives me they would leave in their droves. They certainly wouldn't keep coming until I got better! So, perhaps the club does need to have more supporters who demand VFM. Maybe that is what it will take to bring home the reality of their ineptitude and the consequences of their (in)actions.

Do I care about the club? Yes but enough is enough.

Do I care about your opinion? Not one jot!

Expect to see same side again. Mick is quoted in his prematch on the official site as saying 'Foley has been different class and even got a couple of shots in against Birmingham.'

Oh dear.
