Astral the guy would still score goals aged 70. He has the knack to know where to be score, so even when physical attributes have gone, he would still be able to position his zimmer and toe poke one home. Remember in the prem under DJ we got slaughtered by Southampton. Think he got 2 and Beattie 2 but everyone was going on about Beattie in the papers and on MOTD etc.

Phillips that day put in one of the best striker performances i've ever seen. Link up play, movement, goals, he was brilliant. Beattie was the golden boy but apart from his goals (One was a screamer mind!)he was $$$$.

I thought we should of got him in before he went to Blackpool,we have missed having "a fox in the box" type striker.He was interested in coming to us then,still lives in the area and his lad is at our academy.

Despite all the goals he has scored against us i respect him for being bloody good at his job and still being likeable(i have met him quite often in the last year) unlike certain other individuals i could mention.

I'd have him in ANY division.

Awesome striker, just so happens that he's always had a $$$$-hot record against us ever since he was at Watford, particularly for Sunderland. Although to be fair he has a good record against virtually every team.

His 10-year-old son signed for us last year, so hopefully we'll still get some benefit from Phillips
