Wow I didnt realise at the game how well taken Blakes goal was.

Know what you mean here but last night he did look a different player in terms of effort, ability and commitment.

Because he's not a fan's favourite, he took the goal really well from a difficult ball.

Edwards nearly got a second just after his goal.

To tell you the truth, I can't think of a more prolific scorer of goals from midfield (Sako aside) in recent years.

There was another moment when he burst through into the box but the cross that was coming in got blocked.

Credit where credit is due and Edwards deserves it on this occasion.

I said after Friday that he deserved to play last night, really pleased that Saunders selected him based on merit, let's hope he is recapturing some form, because it's been a long time coming.

Despite his limitations, Edwards would always score more goals from midfield than O'Hara. If O'Hara is contributing, significantly, in other ways, as seems to have been the case last night, fine, if he isn't, then his value to the team is limited.

Edwards is very mmuch a squad impact player, but after afew games his performance slevel out to mediocrity.

Isn't there a clause in the law that you are allowed to attempt over head kicks as long as there are no opponents near?

Maybe I am a football purist/geek and whilst SEB's goal was spectacular I also enjoyed the thought and execution of Sako's pass to Edwards for the first.

It was SEB and it is unusual to see such composure from a Wolves player in the box, even though he got under the ball a little making the execution from Edwards even better.
