None of them asked for the rollercoaster of the last few years and deserve better. river27 02-06-2008, 15:52 Grim news indeed for the fans of the club, my commiserations to them. Hopefully they can start up again at a non-league level. There's an enormous thread about this on the Pie & Bovril Scottish football forum that I have been following - currently standing at 189 pages  http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=78384 Beware of owners with seemingly bottomless pockets, at some point the the gravy train will stop... Don't they have relegation then? Don't they have relegation then? As Iunderstand it ,they don't have a pyramid structure in place. The Highland League is where new teams tend to come from, but that is a closed shop. I caught sight of The Sunday Post newspaper recently and Fort Wiliam were at the bottom with a ridicuous goals against column. I understand they have been bottom for a number of years, but just stay there. The whole structure of Scottish football is pathetic,as proven by the split that happens for the last 5 games of the season. |
