Effectively this is 25 notes for a 'basket meal'! $$$$ that. The pub doesnt charge me £25 entry fee and i can buy a packet of cheese and onion crisps from the spa shop.... I know Wolves need to generate income from somewhere but this is just desperate!

Sounds like good value to me, £25 to watch 11 premiership players and a meal thrown it. Better value than the rubbish usually on show at Molineux

This on the face of it speaks volumes on the naive and amateur way the club is run.
The only saving grace if the £25 goes to a "kitty" for the beer.
At my local it costs nothing to go in, you buy your beer and usually get sandwiches and chips or gray pays an baercon for nothing. The bloke makes all of his money on the volume of beer.
I believe I'm going with several others taking up a table, so there's 10. At least it'll keep the riff-raff out eh...

That's the thing...after the last World Cup when that Indian guy made millions by flooding the market with those cheap flags...everybody's hopping on the bandwagon this time.
2 of my locals have got boards up outside saying "advance ticket only" for the World Cup. Pay a fiver and they'll chuck in a bowl of chips.....as if they're not happy with earning a fortune over the bar............
Same rule applies as New Years Eve....don't pay extra to a pub that wants you to support it all year long. Sad thing is, people are panicking and buying tickets for games that are free on TV...bonkers.
wouldnt say moxey out or bad idea, it will most probably be full and more fool to the saft buggers who pay the money

To be fair, it's not aimed at Oiks like us, they are probably hoping that local companies will take their customers, spend the money at the bar under the pretence of doing a bit of business and then the punters will claim it all back on expenses. Companies wouldn't take their customers to the Dirty Dog for rancid sarnie and a bag of cheese and onion.
Stop knocking the club for their marketing strategy. If you're not interested don't go. They don't want you anyway!

...that's why they phone season ticket holders to join their telecom deal. we are not chelsea we are equal
a) Not just season ticket holders - anyone on their database. They want you for that one!!
b) Have they called about the England game? No? They don't want you for that, then.
c) In what way are we equal to Chelsea? Other than we are both English football clubs. What else are we equal in?

i meant to actually go to the games at old trafford.
$$$$ knows why anyone would want to go to the molineux to watch it, its bad enough making yourself go there on matchday.
