View Full Version : Murray back at Wolves?
My sources tell me Mr Murray is now back at Wolves after you recalled him. Nowt official about yet, but I don't deal in rumours :D (I'll look a tvvat now if its wrong won't I?!)
If true, been nice knowing you! If not, I'll be hear on Saturday night with another update (unless we lose in which case I'll be $$$$$ed up in some cheap Birkenhead bar worrying about an away day at Grays Athletic next season).
Gutted to hear about Ndah by the way. very sad indeed. Always rated him as a player. :(

it's been confirmed, matt has been recalled because of doubts to both postma and oakes. according to hoddle he has done "very well" with you, not sure if that's true from what you've told us.

Cheers for your updates on Matt. Yes, he's been recalled- it's on the official Wolves site.
Hmm, not sure on the "very well" bit. Wish him all the best though - can only imagine how hard it is to come back from so many injuries.

At least the Tranny supporters (of which my son is one) will be happy. Quite frankly he stunk !!!!!
Welcome home Matt - get fit and show us all you haven't lost it
I think if he had played up at Tranmere he was in danger of being beaten to death with Little's head. The two season ticket holders I know could not believe how bad he was and therefore why Little had "borrowed" him.

Well done Matt- you nearly managed to get them relegated- pity you couldn't stay there and finish the job.

I hope Murray gets a game at Norwich. Yes he's not been great at Tranmere but he needs games and it would be a good confidence booster for him.
Hoddle should have recalled Gobern for this and the previous game but no doubt he'll stick with the usual dross!

I'd like to see him back in the team. This is a meaningless match now, so it wouldn't matter if he made a mistake or two (although his confidence might take a hit). I don't know what the Tranmere defence is like but a confident defence can help with the keeper's confidence and vice versa.
If Postma is still injured and Oakes still off with (bird) flu then we could even end up with Hennessey or Ikeme on the bench, which wouldn't be a bad thing IMHO.
With nothing left to play for, Hoddle's team selection could tell us a little something about next season (asuming that he's still here). Anyway, talking of keepers, my mum (font of footballing knowledge that she is) reckons that David James' nephew is having a trial at Molineux (she thinks he's a striker) - I can't find anything about it anywhere.
