This time its Reading. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/4851612.stm Essex Wolf 28-03-2006, 16:11 Was mentioned a few days ago bb. Hope it doesn't happen and have read that Arsenal are interested also. If JLo were to leave Arsenal would I'd imagine win hands down over Reading every time. Should he leave Wolves need to get as much as they can. John 28-03-2006, 16:22 Reading would be a far better move for him than Arsenal. Canwenotknockit 28-03-2006, 16:26 I suspect his agent might see it differently. Deutsch Wolf 28-03-2006, 16:29 Another story linking lescott to another club. This time its Reading. Reading are the only club he's been linked to. brummybird 28-03-2006, 16:31 Sorry Essex I did not know about this until today. Reading would get him regular premiership games but Arsenal would get him more money. I agree we should get as much as we can but try and keep him if we go up!! Hibbitt was King 28-03-2006, 16:32 £4m for the pair...dream on Stevie, babe :p John 28-03-2006, 16:34 I suspect his agent might see it differently. Not if he is a good one he won't. Lescott isn't up and coming, he's too old now. He needs to move up a level and get regular football to progress. A move to Reading will see him have plenty of defending to do and be a chance for him to shine and build himself a good name, even if the team fail. He could then move on again to a more established club if Reading fail. wolf of sedgley 28-03-2006, 16:40 Not if he is a good one he won't. Lescott isn't up and coming, he's too old now. A move to Reading will see him have plenty of defending to do and be a chance for him to shine and build himself a good name, even if the team fail. He could then move on again to a more established club if Reading fail. But he won't go to Reading. We won't sell him for less than £6m. Don't worry about it. Essex Wolf 28-03-2006, 16:42 Arsenal link (http://217.158.112.238/vsite/vcontent/content/transnews/0,10869,5034-169529-19728-33621-244214-12159-5024-layout104-186747-news-item,00.html) No probs bb, just pointing it out. As regards better to go to Reading, well see the point but I'm sure Arsenal will still be a Prem club come the end of next season. St.Simon 28-03-2006, 17:50 Reading are the only club he's been linked to. Mmmmm...sometimes DW you speak as an absolute authority on a matter in respect of which you really do not have all the facts. Just an observation. MobNet Wolf 28-03-2006, 19:01 Reading are the only club he's been linked to. I must have dreamt the link with Celtic a fortnight ago then. HIGHLANDER 28-03-2006, 19:23 But he won't go to Reading. We won't sell him for less than £6m. Don't worry about it.Since when has Lescott been worth £6m......£3m tops Wednesbury Wolf 28-03-2006, 20:34 I couldn't care less where he ends up but one things certain we will be lucky to get much more than 3m wolf of sedgley 28-03-2006, 23:44 Since when has Lescott been worth £6m......£3m tops What he's worth and what we say we want for him are two entirely different things. |
