Just a quick question
I had a phone call from the club asking if I want to give 10% of my phone bill to the Wolves Youth Academy by mucking about with my phone account. I was eating a big bowl of tasty spaghetti at the time and being a bloke, I can't multitask.
Phone-bloke was really giving it the mighty hard sell. When I asked him what I had to do, he just kept saying if you confirm your details with me then you can really start showing your support. I decided not to on the principle that my Spaghetti had gone cold!
I just wondered if anyone else has done this? Do you have to change phone companies? Is it a hassle? Will it involve Leon Clarke getting any more of my money? Am I just tight?

In my case spaghetti always comes first before phone salesmen...in fact eating a rotting donkey would come first before phone salesmen!!
Dont you just love hanging up on them????!!! I dont bother answering the house phone anymore, it's justs no fun after a few thousand!!!

Best thing to do is play them at their own game. The call is costing you nothing financially and it's a bit of fun. Let them waste their time and money by showing a great deal of interest but still blow them out. Really pees them off.
I keep a whistle by the phone for just such an occasion (and a microwave to re-heat my spaghetti)

You can often get a surprising response if you ask them for their home phone number and tell them you will call them back about suppertime!

Got a call from them last night. I'm on cable so even if i wanted to i couldnt do what they wanted. However, They still wanted me to go around my neighbours, workmates and family to see if they would be interested. I mean, $$$$ off! I live in Sheffield......... The Dumb $$$$ didnt even realise my dial code was any different!

he was probably on an automated dialler so he didn't actually dial the number himself. Either that or he's a dumb $$$$!!
I got a call the other night from someone who wanted me to insure my water supply and waste pipes with them, that was from a Wolverhampton dialing code number. Do you think that Wolves are branching out? I don't know about supplying water, but Wolves have plenty of experience of disposal of $$$$.

Would you chose an insurer with the amount of leaks we've got in defence?

Why would you want to insure your water supply?
