Grimsby manager Russell Slade kept his team on the pitch at half time for playing $$$$. At half time they were 4 nil down, He took down on to the pitch a flip chart and red pen and gave them a $$$$$$$ing in the centre circle. woult be interesting to see that at the mol with our over paid stars.

Hoddle gave the players a 'roasting' don't you know.

Hoddle's formation flip chart wouldn't be able to fit down the tunnel.

I think the best thing for Wolves would be to keep them on the pitch and get a few lads off the South Bank to tell what that think of their efforts. That would put the fear of God into the lazy gets.

Surely not a bad idea and Moxey should take it immediately, for our players and the management really deserve it.
Can't see Hoddle going for this - it would only show us all the players disbelieve in his tatics.

he'd just spend the break curling shots into the net from 35 yards, to show them how it's done...

I've always liked the idea of having free flowing subs, just so Hoddle could come on and show the $$$$ers how to take a decent free kick.

Didnt do much good though - they lost 5-0 in the end.....

Yeah, that kind of think really worked for Megson at Forest didn't it?

Woeful man-management. I bet those Grimsby players can't wait to give their all for Mr Slade next time around.
Not so sure that the ritual humilation of your own players is quite the way of going about things?
Just seems to me that that's a sure way to lose the respect of your players.

Public b*ll*ckings never work and in fact usually have the opposite to desired effect. I would suggest that funny though it was, this was more for the fans and chairman's benefit than any positive impact on the team.
