Can't say I'm too concerned by us losing a high-earning 33-year-old who, despite his qualities, hasn't performed this season. I know the style of football doesn't suit him (does it suit anyone?!), but he's looked disinterested too often.

Clarke will have to wait a fortnight for his next match because he is not allowed to play for Argyle against Wolves at Home Park this Saturday.
He said: "I don't know who I'm going to be cheering for."
How about the team that's being paying your wages for years and gave you a chance to succeed you talentless $$$$$$$$.

As opposed to the team that's paying his wages NOW and are giving him a change to succeed NOW?
Anyway, he was only joking so I think you need to calm down and stop taking what managers and players say to the media so seriously.

I see his jokes are on a par with his footballing ability then. This, however, is hilarious:-
"Well, good luck to Leon. Hope .... he can show the other strikers where the goal is."
I am perfectly calm thank you, I consider 'talentless $$$$$$$$' to be an entirely calm, rational and objective view of him.

So you expect him to say that he hopes the club he's playing for gets spanked by Wolves?
Calling someone a $$$$$$ isn't objective, btw.
I take it ma77smith was right then?
Vio must have thought he was going.

It is if it's true ;)
Alright, it's a fair cop. I just tend to see him as one of a large number of extremely average players who know they're never going to make it big, but are quite happy to pick up fat pay cheques showing no loyalty or effort and acting Mr Big Shot as they drift around various increasingly desperate clubs.
Exactly what I'd do if I had the chance:cool:
