Got straight out from the SB and walked up and over the subway, saw nothing but a huge mob of Wolves outside the Wanderer and on the bridge, with a line of riot police standing there trying to look both ways at once.
You can always rely on Cardiff to make it an interesting day.

Just spoke to my Mother in Cardiff, she says the Welsh News only reported 'trouble' not who caused it!

It was certainly not Wolves fans inside the ground.

I've just been listening to talksport and there were some Cardiff fans on saying that there was a lot of trouble between their fans and the police at half time in the concourse area under the stand..Apparently they stopped serving beer and pulled the shutters down and some of the City fans got upset. At that the West Midlands police in riot gearcame storming in way over the top..

I can well believe what I heard coming from this fan.West midlands police in my experience are the worst in the country.A couple of years back some friends an Iwere drinking in a certain public house in Wolvo after a gamewhen all of a sudden a load of the pigs stormed in and started beating everybody with battons.I got one across my knuckles and one over the head,my mates got the same.Hard to believeit Iknow, but true.If it hadn't happened to me I wouldn't have believed it..

One or two of us complained but got absolutely nowhere. These pigsare experts at delaying tactics and putup a brick walland know that eventually thatyou will get fed up and go away.

There must besome of the worse filth on the planet at that Bilston St nick,Rio cops included.

Wolves fan certainly done nothing wrong inside the stadium but there wasa nasty atmosphere outside although I didn't actually see any bother itself.

Arrived at the station at 18.30ish and there was still a line of coopers across the bridge stopping anyone who'd been to the game getting down to the station.

They had a group of Cardiffyobs surrounded outside the station then escorted them onto a Shrewsbury bound train.

Interesting to see genuine Cardiff fans (shirt wearers/families) not wanting to use the same train as the hooligans, must have made a late night for them having to wait for the next train.

re Highlanders comments...

the bars were shut due to trouble from away supporters..a number of supporters then decided to try to reopen them by forcing the shutters etc..the supporters then objected to the police trying to stop them..

Why the hell were Cardiff fans not kept back at the end? Disgraceful that they got let out straight away and a recipe for more trouble.smileys/smiley7.gif

They are not kept in because of Human Rights legislation. To prevent them leaving would be an "unlawful detention".

That's nuts, other clubs do it, it's just West Mids Police who think that's the case.

West midlands/Bilston St coppers dont generaly worry too much about inocent peoples humanrights when they are battering thes!$* out of somebody with their battons.

Believe me, I'm not just one of these people that hate the police....I just hate the West midlands police. Some friends and I were beaten up by them for no reason at all and when I complained to other pigsthey juststarted laughing..A barrier was thenput up then when I complained to senior officers..The force is rotten from top to bottom.

When we go to Reading next week the game will be policedby the professional Thames Valley Police Force. You'll notice the difference because you''l be treated with courtesy and not as though you are a piece ofscum.Edited by: HIGHLANDER

We went straight from the ground to the Virgin Trains executive lounge (AKA the Western). Following a pint we proceeded with due course up the subway to the station to catch the 18:10. No problem whatsoever. The cops had a few folk in a "fold" looked after by a rottweiller cross but there was nothing sinister.Edited by: HazelGroveWolf

we have been kept in loads of times at away games, leeds away we were kept in for 15 minutes after the final whistle, we are always kept in at millwall.

its just rubbish about the human rights thing. you pay for a ticket to enter a private venue, if the rules of that venue then state that you will be in there for a certain amount of time after the event then you cant complain.

it does seem to be that the west midlands police like the agro and attention that they gat to play with by releasing people all at the same time

Believe me,West midlands police love agro. They are a bunch of thugs who if they weren't in the police force would be on the other side of the law. They say you need a thief to catch a thief.A good example of this is,insurance companies whoemploy ex burglars and car thieves to do risk assessments. The WMP are working to the same theory , when they send those Bilston St thugs down to Molineux.

I have been to 70 odd of the present premier league and football league grounds and traveled mostly by train to them.I've also traveled all around the world and I can honestly say that in all my travels I have never come across such a worse bunch of coppersas the WMP.I know the met can be bad at times but that rabble from Bilston street justcan't be compared to anybody else.smileys/smiley7.gif

I find South Yorkshire Police far worse than WMP. You're treated likea piece of scum whenever you go to South Yorkshire.

We were also kept in at Cardiff away this season.

Yes, we were kept in at Cardiff this season, and they made us wait to cross the road before the game, I was also told I could not take a programme back on to the coach once I had crossed the road. It was also pay on the day in the JH on Saturday, if Cardiff fans had spotted that it would have been interestinghttp://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

I have never revealed on here what i actually do for a LIVING but your comments about West Midlands Police officers in general has incensed me so much that i will say i TOO am one of those officers from the West Midlands Police that you refer to as PIGS !

Firstly i will say i have every admiration for Essex for revealing what he does for a living on here

Secondly you are so very narrow minded to think that all West Mids Officers are Pigs

For your information i have no doubt that the officers involved in the fracas on Saturday were not even from Bilston St but from the OSU so you need to check your facts before stating your comments

I have been a frontline officer in the West Mids for a number of years and have always worked on the policy that i treat people the way i wish to be treated and it has put me in good stead .

I am sure you will agree that in every occupation there is bad apples, including yours (if you have one).

I find your comments that you made a complaint about your incident quite baffling in that if you make a complaint and have witnesses the complaints department will certainly investigate it and have to be seen to do it properly.

I am also a Virgin executive lounge member,I took the scenic route back from the ground to avoid the usual aggro at the coach park.Up through town and then down to the station.Cardif plod were at the station waiting to escort their"Fans" home but they were confused coz they did not no where West Mids/OSU had got them!! I went down the steps under the station and down to the arches and found them. The police had about 50/60 herded together ready to bring up to the station. The copper at the front told me to "$$$$$$$ Off" and I legged with the loud encouragement of the taff choir behind me.Scarey moment!!
