I think you're going to be very much in the minority Grinder. I don't like to make predictions myself (superstitious you see), but I think many on here will not be sharing your positive sentiments.

Two defensive clangers complementing the soup dragon in goal and a late consolation from substituteKenneth Miller who makes a run from left back position surging past his team mateswho are running in the opposite direction to hammer home in off the barfrom one yard.

Wolves play lots of pretty sideways football in their own half as Burnley stand watching fascinated in their own half.

Direct ball down the middle,Ricketts... 1-0 Burnley.

GH says it's probably the worst first half he's ever seen us play, but we were better in the second.

burnley will be put to the sword in a thrilling 1-0, prime minister moxey illegally invades the pitch to gesture to the wolves fans packed behind the corner flag, 2 fans are injured from splinters off the seats, goalscorer postma given freedom of wolverhampton and hoddle claims its all come good and the play offs are our aim.....next season

Sheriff Woody

2-0 to Burnley.

Rosa won't play depsite being the only player who seemed to be any good on saturday. Kennedy will start because he's threatening to sell his story about Hoddle to the NOTW, there can't be any other reason why the proud owner of 'the sweetest left foot in the division' keeps getting into the team. Cort to play on the wing. Lescott to have a mare against Michael Ricketts.Naylor will have to cover the entire left side but still be diabolical. Postma to make a mistake but then apologize for it afterwards. Aliadiere to make a fleeting appearance by coming off the bench 4 minutes into the 3 minutes of injury time.

It will p*$$ it down all night, be $$$$$$$ing freezing and Hoddle will accuse the fans of not supporting the team whilst his primadonna's prance around the pitch giving the ball away to less talented men in claret and blue. I can't wait, I'm so $$$$$$$ing excited!!!smileys/smiley11.gif

Burney 1 - 0. I can't see Burnley breaking out into a sweat, in fact they might play their reserves.

Shergar

If Hoddle's post match crap is to be believed then this will be a walkover for us. Very few Wolves fans there, so there will not be the burden of expectation from the crowdand all of the players will be free to express themselves in a similar way as Rosas who is sounaware of the undercurrent.

2-0 to Burnley it is then.

Sorry, but after lastSaturday's pile of carp I can't see us getting anything.

Incidentely, off topic, on Saturday, for the first time ever I didn't celebrate our goal, and as a result had a barny with the two guys in front who did. Sorry, but if we had won 3-1 I wouldn't have been happy after the way we performed.

That seems like an accurate assesment of the possible game tonight and
2-0 is what my head says it will be turn out to be following recent
performances.
But my heart says Gloddle will play 4-4-2 and Rosa and Frankowski will
both score, Postma and Lescott will have blinders and Aliadiere will come
on and get a soft goal for a 0-3 win for the underdogs Wolves.
We need to go into games seing ourselves as the underdogs not the
promotion favourites having a few off games. Underdogs fight and bite
and never lay down. Maybe that is part of our problem , a few to many
over paid rather than highly motivated players.Edited by: OldWolvesfart

couple of blokes on Saturday. Probably more entertaining than the game.smileys/smiley18.gif

Unless there is the shake up of the midfield that Hoddle seems incapable of, I predict a damn good stuffing.

Possession: Wolves 72% - 28% Burnley

Shots on target: Wolves 3 - 1 Burnley

Result: Wolves 0 - 1 Burnley (Chadwick after 43 seconds)

Red cards Wolves 0 - 2 Burnley (two players sent off in the 7th minutefor laughing at our formation in an unsportsmanlike manner)

Hoddle's excuse: There are no easy games in this league, Burnley shut up shop as soon as they went down to nine men. Anyway, it was raining, the elements conspired against us, why can't we play in the summer?
