As per my ususal post, here is the latest from the Express + Star.
The Idiakez deal appears dead as the talks yesterday between Derby and his agent went well. The player is keen to stop and the club are in the process of offering him a new deal. They go on to say that Derby are not interested in selling the player. It now remains to be seen if Wolves will make a fourth bid for the player.
The trialist Peter Kilgour - The paper have now idea basically who he is, as the only info printed was that he was included yesterday...
The Preston manager has confirmed an interest in Kevin Cooper.
Glenn Hoddle has warned the team that if the performances don't improve they will be in for harder training.

I'm personally happy. Idiakez is too old, too overated and too bloomin expensive both in terms of fee and wages. Plus (with fear of sounding monotonous) we need a central defender!!!!

Iagree. Although heis apparantly agood player I think our prioritiesare elsewhere. When paying the sort of money it will take to prise him from Derby I think we could do better and younger (Koumas?)
